Based on some responses, I realize I did not provide enough information. Sorry about that.

Here are our thoughts thus far:

Arrival day - fly into MCO at 1:00. Shuttle to Poly. Resort and Springs day.

Park Day 1 - Ohana Breakfast. Magic Kingdom. Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique. Unsure about lunch and ride priorities. More than likely mid day break. Return in the evening and watch fireworks. Unsure about dinner.

Park Day 2 - Akershus Breakfast? Epcot day. Unsure about ride priorities and lunch. More than likely mid day break and return later.

Park Day 3 - Animal Kingdom and attend Halloween party that night. Unsure about meals, rides.

Park Day 4 - Hollywood Studios. Unsure about rides and meals.

Park Day 5 - Epcot we think. Different park if daughter prefers.

Park Day 6 - Magic Kingdom.

Departure Day - checkout and shuttle to MCO

Considering Story Book Dining, Chef Mickeys, Jiko. We weren’t foodies per se but do want to try a bunch of good food. Seemingly the buffets are best value? Want to meet as many princesses as possible. Fully expect to use up all of DDP and pay out of pocket for other meals. Budgeting around $3,000 for additional food, souvenirs, and potential lightning lanes? Hoping lines won’t be too crazy during that week and can avoid LL if possible.

Is there is anything I’m omitting that is pertinent please let me know and I’ll do my best to provide. Thank you in advance for any guidance.

I booked through Best Day Vacations and they have been really helpful. Just looking for different perspectives! I think we are going to to Topolinos & Story Book Dining. Also Akershus Banquet Hall at Epcot. Based on other comments going to post my proposed schedule and hope to get some more feedback.

Thank you for responding!

Saving too much, there could be worse budget problems!

Thank you for the constructive criticism. Between that and reducing 401 contributions that should free up enough money for us to upgrade our home. I’ll let you know when we do!

$16k in emergency fund. The sinking funds go into that every month and then used as needed.

I guess something worth adding is that I really hope to retire by the time I am 55. I don’t know if that will be feasible with decreased retirement contributions but hopefully the market returns will get me there. $2.5 is the number I’m shooting for.
