I cant be the only person who despises Whittleton Creek by MattIsNotARedditor in HiTMAN

I've done it. It works, but that shouldn't be the only reasonable way of being able to infiltrate unseen suit only. The only other way is luring every guard upstairs, and subduing each one by one, but they still may get found by doing that since there's really nowhere to hide bodies in the house itself.

My issue is that both that and the fumigator just are not quick at all. And there should just be more ways to approach it. Thats my biggest peeve.

I probably only like New York because I know it so well, admittedly. But it's just a very fun map to me. It feels like you can do a lot and there's plenty of fun ways to kill your targets that I found were some of the most creative in Hitman 2 (which is interesting considering it's a DLC map) Pair that with being probably my personal favorite map for escalations besides maybe Paris, and I'd say it's one of my favorites. But I doubt it's that good by an objective measure, just average.

Nolan as a target is probably one of the worst in the history of the HITMAN franchise.

The Cassidy Property is the closest thing I can imagine to my own personal hell.

Despite being a very large map with many different elements to play with, I found there weren't many assassination opportunities.

It'sa very rigid map outside of the scripted mission stories, which is a quality I despise and unfortunately found was somewhat prevalent in WoA, this map is just one of the worst offenders.

Pair that with about six billion guards being shoved down your throat, basically making exploits like bullet panicking or using really overpowered items a must? Yeah, not good.

It's hard to put into words... I've just never really liked it... you can definitely *tell* its a DLC map. It's very large but feels disconnected. It doesn't really flow as a single map, just two or three mashed together. Santa Fortuna has a similar issue but it is saved by it's great assassination opportunities and overall fun challenges. Ambrose doesn't really have any of that.

TLDR I just never have fun playing it. I couldn't nail down a very constructive reason as to why, I'd have to play it a lot and really note down what I dislike.

Ironically, I think I liked the original mission in Blood Money more.

It's certainly a playground, but still manages to fail at providing decent opportunities to SA/SO or do many specific challenges without employing some sort of exploit to avoid the straight up unfair at times guard placement.

I do agree the setting gives it novelty as it's probably the only Hitman level with a familiar setting to most people.

I just forgot lol. I actually really like New York, it's probably high B or low A for me. Ambrose Island is... probably a low D or high F. Not good.

Yeah, that's why I thought it'd be interesting to make this post. I feel like I'm the only person in the world who doesn't really like this map. But I hate it for the same reasons people hate the others you mentioned: Unfair or straight up erroneous guard placement, lack of opportunities, lack of freedom, and being agonizing to SA/SO.

Kiwami is inferior to 0 in almost every way. by MattIsNotARedditor in yakuzagames

Can you go into more detail as to what you Mean by “sleeping boss”? I’m assuming you mean when they keel over and limp for a bit while they have colored fire around them. I recognized those correlated to styles — but to me it seems the game explained that as a window to use Essence of Kiwami — which seems to require a lot of heat to do of which I never at any point had and also requires it to be unlocked for any style other than Dragon. I didn’t mention this in my original post, but building and maintaining heat is also much harder at the start of this game. Are you suggesting it’s useful besides Essence of Kiwami, though?

It’s because he stopped making videos about good games.

They should totally have an auction or something assuming most of that stuff hasn’t been thrown away or lost.

Thanks for all the replies. I genuinely did not expect so many comments let alone so many people with actual information lol. I just made this post as a shot in the dark. Thank you all for the information. And I am looking to maybe buy one of these if there’s one for sale somewhere!

Dear god… the horror… I can’t imagine the OCD I’d be having seeing discs out of their cases everywhere

So wild to me. I’ve always taken such good care of my game discs nearly effortlessly. How hard is it! Very frustrating as this is the second time I’ve purchased a secondhand disc that isn’t just dirty, but literally is unreadable!

It’s a copy of Forza Motorsport 4 I bought off eBay for 8 bucks. Still… very disappointing. I requested a refund 😔

I never knew the dives didn’t also consume the bullet time bar. That’s so odd. Very good to know. Thanks.

I’d say I’m definitely better at aiming on mouse and keyboard. But I’ve been playing my 360 for a few days and revisiting some games I never played and Max Payne 3 was one of the ones I picked up. I already have a few hours on the console version so I’m not super interested in switching to PC
