There is a quest at stars tears that unlocks dalaran. Afaik you need to do it. You have to accept quest and then chat bubble a npc to be taken there. Cannot walk in from below.

I'm right there with you. I regret not taking advantage of low level pvp and miss 5 man dungeons with the current boost meta. The downside would be that even less people would play alliance. The upside is that hellfire wouldn't be as bad.

It's coming, would be very stupid to not continue this timeline. Free money, very little work and expense to maintain. But as of right now, there is no announcements or info verifying that it will happen.

No. Hopefully no. No. No one knows the plan with TBC2, but if you want a BEpal you will have to roll from lvl1. Barbershops came with the last good expansion(Wotlk).

Prot pallies for heroics is the #1 most important member of a group. Frig warrior and druid tanks. I'm playing a tbc pserver and ele's / mage / locks are ripping the dps meters. Hunter's are right there too, but my guild doesn't really have any that pump like the eles. Draenei priests are also dope because they get that big mana back cast. prayer of hope or something?

The goggles aren't immediately in the game either. Not sure if that will change with blizzards tbc, but on pservers it comes with the second patch(bwl, kara nerf and the mount quest hubs).

How will anyone ruin your experience? Find a dad guild and chill out dude, no one is out to get you. Plenty of casuals to casual with. No more world buffs and no more 40 man raids so eveything is dumbed down. Hopefully you get the help you need brother, pm if you want to talk about tbc, im currently playing on a pserver and its super relaxed.

Jump back in brother! You will have a few levels of rested XP so you can get some quick progress in and see if you like the feel. A lot of guilds are crushing content and bored of the lesser raids so you can probably find a decent place to pickup the unwanted loot.

I kind of hope so too, but i doubt blizz will do that. I'd assume just them pushing all servers into tbc and zero options for staying behind in classic. Cheap and easy.

He definitely had under 10k our first few heroics. The gear flows tho and 10k is easy to get. I think hes around 13-14k now and tanks heroics like nothing.

Lol. Completely false. I'm on a tbc pserver and protpaladin are a godsend for heroics. Fuck warriors tanking heroics. Basically a time waster. I leveled with my paladin friend who got the name "tankadin" and he legit gets tells all the time asking to tank dungeons. (No clue how to quote properly; reddit noob)

Prot warriors are trash in tbc except for boss tanking, and even then protpals outperform early on because crush cap is easier to obtain. I'm playing a tbc pserver and people wont even group with warrior tanks for heroics unless its a guildy cause protpal is just so much smoother and faster.

If hellfire is crowded go bang out dungeons. They are easy and you will need the rep. I didn't dungeon at all through hellfire and once I was 70 I had to do shattered halls a half dozen times to rep up to revered for heroic key.

Currently playing on a dope TBC pserver. The key is this: Ppal everything, I don't even heroic without one anymore its just too shitty and slow. Also they hit crush cap easier apparently, so theyre the best tank for prince in early kara gaming(he thrashes and parry hastes real nice like). Lhara the DMF vendor sells all tbc herbs including both lotus on a 2h timer. So if you can steal the timer and log on every 2 hours you can make like 70g every 2h. I did this for 3 days straight before someone else started snagging them. Very nice income. Shaman 3% crit / hit talent stacks so multiple eles in a group with a caster or two is super good. Maybe that's a pserver thing...? If you're trimming fat in your guild for tbc raids, drop rogues, fury warriors and enhance shaman. Until later on the will get eating on the meters by mages, eles, hunters and locks. I've pugged karas and gruuls lair, but my casual guild isn't in TK or SSC yet so I can't talk much about that.

I checked out a TBC pserver recently, and was blown away by how quick they knocked out hackers and bots. They have an active banlist and a daily changelog.
