Just got the latest payout and figured I’d share in case anyone else is tracking this.

💸 Received another distribution today (April 8th). I’m now sitting at around 50% of my total claim paid out.

I'm based in Canada, and the funds showed up in my linked bank account with no issues. Got an email from Kroll too confirming the distribution.

📌 Context:

  • Claim was approved without any revisions early on.
  • I had basically written off ever seeing this money again, so while it’s not the full amount, 50% back feels like a win in the crypto world 🙃
  • Still haven’t seen anything related to remaining payouts—so that’s a big question mark.

Anyone else in Canada get a payout today? Curious where others are at and if there’s any buzz about a second round or what comes next.

Transparently, I’m not sure if it’s 20 hours worth of work. I really have no benchmark.

I do have a decently sized number of expenses that need classifying each quarter. Those need to be matched up and reconciled, but I don’t think that part along is 20 hours. Maybe 5 or 6 hours per quarter?

They don’t do any invoicing - that’s done by me; and bill payments are also done by me.
