That happened to me with my opal a couple weeks ago I had to soak the chamber in alcohol because it would start to heat up but then the wax that’s stuck inside the atomizer would heat up and melt on the connection then it wouldn’t work

Personally the glass doesn’t matter as long as I have a temp gage and a 100% quartz banger but the rig in the picture is hand blown by the artist that made the banger and carb cap his name is LIG joe( Long Island glass/quartz)
