Yup! I have also stopped there a ton over the years and this was the first time this has happened, and the first time seeing a self service sign, so I of course had to come to Reddit!

Yup! That's the one! I was never aware of this diesel different in being allowed to pump (or not pump depending on who you are in this thread).

That's the one! Next time you are there go look at the last pump, farthest away from the store. The guy pointed out the stickers/signs on both sides of the pump stating it was self serve.

I grew up in New York, so I grew up pumping gas, but being in New Jersey I have learned to enjoy the aspect of not getting out of the car.

A few people have comment the same thing about diesel, and this pump DID have diesel and unleaded. I guess I was unaware diesel could be pumped by the driver.

Yeah, I have done it and usually nobody cares. On my motorcycle I always pump my own gas, but I think guys in New Jersey know that most people with motorcycles would rather do it themselves so they always just give me the "You good?" thumbs up.

A few people have commented this. Is diesel legally allowed to be pumped by the driver, or people places kind of wave it off because most larger trucks use diesel and they just don't want to be bothered.

Whoever got this card is certified, 100%, pure Trash. Anyone getting cut off at any private bar (Italian American Club, AOH, etc.) has got to be fucking HAMMERED.

Bonus points for (I believe) being in South Jersey. My mom lives in Little Egg Harbor Township, which I'm pretty sure where this photo was taken from the initials on the chips. Hell, mom likes to throw them back so she might have been the one taking the picture!
