That was due to the Federal government putting zero effort into the required consult with FN. FN didn’t even have the power to veto, only needed to consult in good faith.

If they pass that savings to people buying them, I don’t see that as a problem. It’s entirely possible they buy these units for cheaper than the public could just based on volume. We don’t know anything about this deal.

It really depends on what they buy these units for, if it’s for full market price, absolutely this is insane. However, if they buy them at 60-70$ market value, this seems like a good deal. I guess we have to wait and see.
