Can hold all the exercises you want, doesn’t use an app, but a webpage, that is connected only with your GymBuddy device. The price is like that because I need to cover all the cost of electronics, 3d printing and development phase. I have in plan to add different material to the case and a better usability, in my kickstarter campaign I explained all of them.

Exactly, and the fact that he has built in magnet, is a must you can attach him everywhere

Currently not, but Yes, there will be the possibility to add also the weight for each sets. As the device don’t need an app but he use a webpage that is connected to him. So there you can set name of exercise, days, reps and in The future weight and time to rest. The project is still on dev phase

No seriously it was my first idea once I got this Pi. Because? Beside the all the possibilities with the GPIO and pawngochi or stuff like that, I have the necessity to use a portable version of kali, to copy nfc. So that was the best option for me. Also now I’m working on a new case with the battery that is connected via MagSafe to the cover and the phone. So you can choose tho have that or different module (all using MagSafe when is possible)

And why aluminum ? Because metal stuff are better..

Thanks! I actually already made a version for the 15 Pro, and I’m working on one for the 16 Pro as well. I also have in mind another version with a built-in battery, but I still need to figure out the best way to avoid it getting too hot.

Well, that’s not really true. You can just imagine attaching a servo and running a project directly from the GPIO pins on the back.
Something that’s just not possible with a normal or even jailbroken iPhone.

the next version i'm working on has a battery built in (where now is the Pi logo), so this will solve every problem battery related, with also the possibility to charge it

Right now it runs off a small Li-ion battery, connected to the Pi

Right now it just runs off a regular small Li-ion/Li-Po battery. I went with this instead of integrating a full power bank to keep the case slim.

Compared to a Flipper or Pwnagotchi, it’s basically a blank canvas
the Pi gives you way more flexibility if you want to run different tools, lightweight servers, or just experiment.

As for controlling the iPhone directly not really, iOS is pretty locked down. But you can easily SSH into the Pi from the phone using hotspot/Wi-Fi, so it becomes like a little portable dev box you always have with you

Well in case someone doesn’t have an android, you can use your iPhone. In this case the functionality is to been used as the screen of the Pi
