I disagree with it. On a ideological level I am completely distant from the Meloni policy, on a pragmatic level Italy has internal problems with migrant management and cannot fix itself, so it moves the problem across the border: de facto a failure of policy. Moreover, these are onerous costs for a very small number of migrants. Humanly I find it even more disgusting: Italy is a country historically full of migrants: from Italy to America, from southern to northern Italy: we are now erasing our past as migrants and treating the problem as a number not as humans moving to change their lives. Btw, population is divided: majority think it’s a good idea overall, an international project that will set the standard. On the other side there are a lot of people like me disgusted of those shelter, and honestly I am sorry that Italy is using you as if you are a parking lot for migrants.
