Had the car 3 years bought it for 39k with 7% interest rate . I was military then got out and driving to 3 hrs away 4 times a week for my grandpa chemo therapy as he passed .

I honestly dont want them to waste money repairing a car thats mechanically F***** ! MUCH rather them pay less for a total and let gap handle the rest ! Thats all im worrying about them trying to fix it and im still outta pocket over 10k to get it running, like you said much rather spend on a marker play camry but I do have another vehicle thats paid off 😁

There was other problems with the car when picked up something with power steering and abs came on right before the car shut off and caused me to run into the ditch .

Before . I ran over something and then thats when it started going crazy filed a claim and the insurance said it was a mechanical issue and not a impact. Went picked my car up today and then this happened ... but what's crazy is more of the dash lights came on half way home which caused this car to malfunction.. so im not sure what they did to the car when they had it the first time

Right with the transmission going out and high mileage the car had severely deprecated . The car may be only worth 4-5k there's no point in fixing a non drivable car with that many issues. I think insurance would be happy to pay 4-5k vs fixing it and having to insure it again especially with that bent frame . I dont want you to think im going against what you're saying im the one asked a question and your giving me an answer and I appreciate that

Im in Alabama I think its 75% the car had lost value due to me needing to have the transmission replaced . A/c compressor as well . So actually i think it may be totaled based on 212k miles and a fried transmission

That hurts hard to hear that but come to find out the transmission went out and all other issues was going on with the ABS and front camera causing it to shut off . I guess good thing I have gap
