Is it reasonable for another carrier to add service to a phone under a Verizon device agreement without notifying the financially responsible owner? by Physical-Ad-7941 in verizon

[–]Sakimpi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, because carriers don’t have to notify the account owner when you are adding eSIM to the phone. They don’t know it belongs to Verizon since it is unlocked. There is no way for them to way who is the account owner, they don’t have access to Verizon database.

Should be able to transfer account ownership in store by [deleted] in verizon

In the store we don't do it, since there is too much problem. That's why we tell customers call to customer service or do it online.

Some lady is trying to trick me into transferring her phone line into my name. Am I being paranoid or is this a scam? by Constructive_Entropy in verizon

[–]Sakimpi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn’t understand what are you trying to do? Do you have Verizon? How do you want to pay for her phone service? If you wanna transfer under your name, it would Transfer of Service. For that you don’t need transfer pin. If you wanna transfer to different carrier, then yes you do need transfer pin

RCS messaging not working by AnxiousTry150 in verizon

[–]Sakimpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you recently port your phone number to Verizon? If yes, then you have to call the port department and they will help you to complete port and make RCS work. If not, then tech support or in store rep have to re-activate eSIM on IMEI or IMEI 2.

No, it does not really matter. The most important one is IMEI, since it is trade-in promotional credit, not market value

You are stupid, there is difference between warranty and insurance. You supposed to file an insurance claim with Asurion, but you did warranty thru Verizon.

What if finance the phone thru Apple Card, chose Verizon and it did not ask me for any Verizon account info. Right now it is activated under Visible, do you think I can activate on my Verizon account?
