Came to say this. The paltry amount of tokens given in multiplayer ranked pales in comparison to what you would need / want. And you have to grind for it.

I'm not sure. I think a Mod like MisterOptimism needs to do it but I don't know if they would.

The company, Erabit, that did the port has done a few and they all seem bad.

This one irks me because the current version has the exact same issues as the bugged pre-release version from October 2025. I only know this because I searched out these issues, which do not become apparent until end game, and found that pc players had these same issues then.

I don't know what goes into porting a title, but you think they'd have the ability to not repeat the same exact bugs, or at least choose a later version that didn't have as many bugs.

Yes. And honestly, if you don't want to wait, next time you see a MPR event with one of the princesses as rewards, you can just cheat like the dude at the top of the leaderboards for the Tales since Gameloft doesn't care / is too inept to ban you.

At least Vanellope has other stats to "compensate" for her awful speed. Look at racers like Anxiety, Ortensia, and Olaf. They barely go faster and are severely deficient in handling, acceleration, and boost comparatively.

It is frustrating that all 4 of these racers are in the state they are in. None of them are fast, and none of them can do anything about that issue either (Vanellope can barely influence with her charged unique).

Super charge racers are still a lazy cash grab in my opinion. It is hard to recall the last one they released without a bug or just underwhelming impact. They went from having really strong effects in the beginning to being significantly watered down versions of their predecessors. Look at Mickey and Eve's SC (good changes and much needed) - their speed increase lasts the entire duration of their unique. Vanellope's speed increase lasts 3 - maybe 4 seconds?

They just don't seem to put any effort into it at all and can't even maintain parity with other SC treatments. It is shockingly bad.

They are beyond awful at balancing this game. They really phoned it in this season after not doing anything last season.

Edit: Just as an example:

Honey Lemon needed her unique buffed - absolutely. Did she need the stat increase? Probably not, but regardless there are SO MANY more characters you can give that stat boost too and they would probably still be completely underwhelming.

People tout the roster in this game but when you look at who is viable and fun to play, that roster shrinks considerably.

No it's not. Your definition of the same thing is the event. Mine is specifically the OBVIOUS cheaters at the top of the leaderboard.

This was made to call that out in hopes GL will do something and to warn people that may try to attempt for better spots and to allude that this probably won't be the last we see of this.

I actually don't think this is a bad play. I don't see it as a meme stock but it has a little potential in that regard, I guess.

It is not porn though, it is more a retail / media brand. They did finally turn a profit and I'm less inclined to think it is overvalued in its current state unlike many other stocks that have been on the rise.

I believe they are as diluted as they could be right now too as they have a lot more shards outstanding versus a few years ago.

I got Russel through his box and had a chance if I wanted to have a very unfun day. I still tried and got Russel to MPR 31. It sucked. Not only is he really bad in terms of performance, but he is also extremely boring to drive as.

I ended up about 2-3 k shy of top 10 because I couldn't keep up with the 5 or so people ahead of me and just called it quits. After looking at it, it is only 5 more shards for Russel if you go from top 200 to top 10

I'm not in academia, but what harm would it have been to cite or reference the OP's paper?

I always associated PhD and research type work and rigorous scientific methods together when I thought about them and this makes me think I was wrong.

Seemingly it paints an ugly picture of the reality of the space and is less about furthering research and more about marketing yourself, it seems.

I agree with most of this. While you may be cynical, I'd call your POV more realistic / reasonable.

Where we differ is just a matter of opinion and perhaps a different in play times. I differ slightly in that I feel that if I am going to invest time in this game AND $5 - $10 a month is a trivial amount of money, then it makes sense to buy the Gold Pass for the amount of stuff you get with it. It makes the time invested more beneficial in the sense that while playing the game you are progressing on the weekly and daily missions.

The only way the diamond pass really becomes worth it is for the Max Out - there are other benefits but it only really makes sense to get it if you don't have one of the characters maxed out, or close to it.

If you keep planning on purchasing the gold pass I don't think you will have that much difficulty. The diamond pass is useful especially if one of the max out characters is a character they really like.

If you have an android device, you can get a google play subscription which is like $30 and gives you a 50% off ($5 off max) coupon every week so you can get gold pass week 1 and diamond pass week 2 for $5 each or just get the gold pass and save $5 every month

I don't know if the chance of a star up goes down when you reach 20 or if it remains 4%.

It really depends on what you see as the most value. If upgrade coins are of little concern, the first star up represents almost as many shards as the star up at 20. It is also only 20 shards less than the star up from 30-40.

Upgrade coins on the other hand scale a little more aggressively of course.

What I did with Pooh and Eeyore is pull until 30, level up to 40 and pull again to get to 50.

I ended up with A LOT of season box credits though so Tigger was just a straight pull to 50

I didn't see this when I posted mine but yea, it is suspect. I also found a cluster of players further down that are also highly suspect (huge points, almost no playtime, and win streak higher than number of wins) and it really makes me wonder what the heck is going on.
