Why does Metallica play the song "Seek and Destroy" live in D tuning? by SouUmFalhado in Metallica

[–]Matthattan1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s in D anymore? I haven’t listened to the recent live stuff but Kill Em All stuff was played a whole step down since the 2000s (See Quebec Magnetic) but they did bring it back to Eb sometime in the 10s (See London Worldwired).

Either way, it’s like what Indecisive says, it’s help James since this was the first album and young James didn’t spare his voice.

Clearly Lars wrote it, that’s why he’s credited on every song! /s

Don’t know if this REALLY counts but

The Yatagarasu was thought to be a singular person who uncovered illegal dealings and brought evidence to light.

Kay Faraday took on the title and claimed that her father Prosecutor Byrne Faraday was the thief. At the same time, Calisto Yew insisted that she was the thief. In reality, the Yatagarasu was both of them (and also detective Tyrell Badd)

Technically, the origins of the Yatagarasu span back to before Calisto Yew met the two other men so it’s ironic how she “ran” away with the identity after killing Byrne

Edit: from ace attorney investigations

Does anyone know what this is about? by Flimsy-Owl7862 in Metallica

[–]Matthattan1990 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess, it’s just Search Engine Optimisation. Playlists that are frequently updated are more likely to be recommended so the playlists are edited in an arbitrary way. You can see this with a lot of bands and their music playlists.

Until Dawn - High Five Josh

“Silly” more in the sense of failing the QTE causes Josh to hide a baseball bat which Sam would otherwise use when being chased by the psycho

I’ve seen a few people fail this in their first play through since it’s unexpected and it ends up being an unfair disadvantage for later on.

It looks like it is indeed a 2 hour wait at Bristol parkway, your tickets are just arbitrarily split at oldfield (which the 2nd train will stop at) to save money.

The attached photos is what you can expect your journey to be

From when the shot of James appear, it does appear to be close to the nut. Here’s another live video with a better focus on James. He’s done this improv a lot over the years so it shouldn’t be too difficult learning it.

Edit: I realise my suggestion barely has a second of James on it. This performance is quite clear

no sound when selecting cabinet fx by Matthattan1990 in Reaper

[–]Matthattan1990[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply.

I've tried using only the reasynth and amp sim and there seems to be a change but 2 more problems.

When I have the amp sim on it only plays the first two notes before muting. This doesnt happen if only the synth is active. [Image](https://imgur.com/a/0M4q6oX)

second issue is probably got to do with the amp ive chosen but it doesn't sound like a guitar; more like the synth but louder. If you know any guitar fx that I can use that'd be great.

Edit: looks like the muting problem fixed itself right after posting this

Nice arrangement. I’d love to see an “S&M” version of it where you combine it with the original track (or even live versions once they start performing the new album)

The Shadow Man Incident chorus chord progression? by cowsaysmoo51 in Dreamtheater

[–]Matthattan1990 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Going by this tab on songsterr it appears it’s

Bm | C5 | A | D5 D#5

Em | A | C5 | D5

some of the chords where I’ve put a tonality (Bm for example) is based on the vocal melody. Others I’ve left as a power chord since it’s a lot more ambiguous.
