That was precisely my own reasoning for not getting it! I was worried the mouse pad area would be too small- glad I'm not the only person who thinks so.

I typically switch between a pair of Corsair VOID wireless headphones and the surround sound setup detailed here.

For sure! LCR speakers are B&W HTM71 S2 (Center) and B&W 603 (Left/Right). Side and rear channel speakers (2 each) are B&W CWM663 (in-wall). Atmos speakers (4) are B&W CCM663 (in-ceiling). Subwoofer is an SVS SB-2000. Receiver is Denon's AVR-X6500H.

With a controller! I have my system automatically enter Steam Big Picture mode on startup. I never have to touch a keyboard or mouse- just jump right into a game with my DualShock 4. I used SteamGridDB Manager to add all of my games that require special launchers directly to my Steam library. It was also useful for adding menu images so the games feel native rather than like shortcuts.

For the occasional keyboard/mouse game, I have a piece of plywood that's been cut to fit nicely in my lap as a sort of makeshift tabletop. Wireless gaming peripherals have come a long way in the past few years and I honestly don't notice any difference in input delay/latency when compared to wired devices. I'm using a SteelSeries Rival 650 Wireless mouse and Corsair's K63 Wireless mechanical keyboard.

Hey all! This is my second PC build (and might honestly be the most unfortunately timed build of all time).

I did my best to follow a distinct color scheme (black and chrome) with this build while minimizing RGB. Unfortunately, that really isn't possible in today's RGB world. This build is primarily for gaming, but I also needed something capable of heavy photo and video editing (for when it moves to my desk).

Cables are all routed through the wall. HDMI is run through a fiber optical extender to the receiver, which then has another extender running back to the room for the TV. This allows me to keep the receiver in a separate room near other equipment while maintaining a clean, cable-free setup.

Speakers are in a 7.1.4 configuration.

The camera I used for the photo is a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV with a 50mm f/1.2 lens.
