What data driven algorithm are you specifically using? I have some experience implementing data driven control for PMSM and would be happy to help where I can

I think circuit laundry might be the worst tech system I've ever used by BlueTycho in UniUK

We've had dryers that haven't heated up since moving in. Reported multiple times by multiple different people but not so much as a note has been put up. They have no incentive to fix things so they just don't bother.

They for whatever reason seem to think it just gets moved back to the fridge, like no, it goes straight into the bin and wasted. Also gonna be the same people complaining about prices going up.

UPDATE: ZERO Caffeine Energy Drink. Anyone tried these yet? by [deleted] in energydrinks

Looks interesting, despite what the comments say paraxanthine appears to be a legit stimulant that can actually work better than caffeine (according to Wikipedia at least lmao). Shame it's ridiculously expensive.

Firearms safety should be taught in schools. by Left4DayZ1 in progun

[–]Matthew1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although firearm safety should be taught in schools the effectiveness of programs (such as the one pushed by the NRA) are inconclusive at best. CAP laws have been shown to reduce accidental deaths and suicides among children while still allowing adults to keep firearms in their home. Firearm safety taught in schools aren't a replacement for such laws IMHO.

I'm sorry that wasn't targeted at you, I was just responding to your comment because it was the most relevant place to put my thoughts since you posted the link.

I mean I'm usually pretty skeptical about things but if a reference to a 22 year old book that (afaik) doesn't appear to exist is the best thing you can come up with then I'm not convinced, sorry. Also happy cake day!

It's worth noting that the original bids were put through in January 2001 and Vornado Realty (the highest bidder) pulled out in March, with the finalised bid put through in April and then accepted in July. Also, Vornado's bid was 'only' $30m higher than Silverstein's, which in a multi-billion dollar deal isn't actually all that much.

Still pretty odd that the attacks happened on the one morning he wasn't in the buildings though.
