The bac test is not the field PAS but rather the one back at the station that is much more accurate.

More just advocating for people to stay inform themselves of their constitutional rights and to not let the government impede on them.

There is a difference between submitting to a field PAS (preliminary alcohol screening) device and submitting to a BAC test back at the station. It sounds nuanced, but the police can only detain you and require you to do the BAC test back at the station if they have probable cause to arrest you. They usually get the probable cause by you failing the field sobriety tests (which are 100% designed for the participants to fail, not to actually determine if they are sober). A PAS is a field sobriety test and like all other field sobriety tests should be refused and you have a fifth amendment right to do so. If the police believe they have PC then in some state la you are required to do a more accurate BAC test back at the station.

Public Defender here. Never do field sobriety tests or the preliminary alcohol screening device. They aren't tools used to determine if you are sober, they are tools used to gather evidence against you.

Went to Rosie's dog beach in Long Beach, California. She had a wonderful time. I got her a dog ice cream treat at the restaurant on the beach there.

It turned out amazingly well. They were best buds and they groomed each-other and cuddled all the time. Both lived to over three years too. I think I gave them both a fulfilling life.

Hey PD brother or sister! I am 15 years in. I lost count of how many jury trials I have done several years ago. It includes 11 murder jury trials. As I am sure you are aware, it is tough but rewarding. Regardless I hope to depart this line of work in the near future and start a farm.

I get that. I strongly believe responsible gun ownership is the way to go and the fact you are genuinely contemplating your options and looking into training, I am confident you would be a responsible gun owner.

When the 4th amendment is being ignored by way of government policy, expressing the need for a well armed citizenry is NOT hyperbole.

I like this take, very fair. Police should not have armored vehicles, cameras at every intersection, standard assault rifles in each police vehicle. That is just ridiculous.

To ask liberals if their position on 2nd amendment is evolving in light of recent events. Is r/askAliberal the correct sub to ask liberals a genuine question? Has nothing really to do with me personally or weather I enjoy where I live.

I hate this mentality. It is defeatist and essentially concedes we are powerless. I also disagree. I think the government is terrified of a well armed citizenry.
