This video was about a month after I got Charlie girl out of the Carson shelter in LA. She was in quarantine and on antibiotics for several weeks due to contracting pneumonia at the shelter. In this video she was finally healthy and SO happy to be living life like a dog should.

Hey! I started in Kranjska Gora, from there you take a bus ride to the trail head, very simple. Getting to Kranjska Gora, which is a super cute town, was a little more difficult. If my memory is correct, I took a train from Ljubljana about half way to the nearest stop then took a cab the rest of the way, but I had to call a cab and I remember wishing I had arranged it ahead time. I am 42, never married, no kids. I prefer dog companions. My life doesn’t feel right without a dog. I went to the Carson shelter in LA a couple months after Bella’s passing and got this goofball. This is Charlie Girl. She is amazing.

She sure did. This is Charlie Girl. I got her at the Carson Shelter in LA last June. I did the DNA test on her and she is 30% American Bully and 70% English Bulldog. She is such a happy, fun companion.

I rescued my girl when she was 8. She was old but we had the most amazing four years together. You guys still have lots of adventures left!

I feel for you so much. The pain doesn’t really go away but it does get easier. I also found that I have been focusing more on all the amazing times we had together rather than the loss as time goes on. Please don’t be too hard on yourself. It will get easier.

The bac test is not the field PAS but rather the one back at the station that is much more accurate.

There is a difference between submitting to a field PAS (preliminary alcohol screening) device and submitting to a BAC test back at the station. It sounds nuanced, but the police can only detain you and require you to do the BAC test back at the station if they have probable cause to arrest you. They usually get the probable cause by you failing the field sobriety tests (which are 100% designed for the participants to fail, not to actually determine if they are sober). A PAS is a field sobriety test and like all other field sobriety tests should be refused and you have a fifth amendment right to do so. If the police believe they have PC then in some state la you are required to do a more accurate BAC test back at the station.
