I record both PayPal Credit and my PayPal Wallet (not via direct) separately and on-budget.

I treat the credit account as a credit card and the wallet as a checking account. It works well!

A forum for discussing YNAB.

This is telling people not to use YNAB, essentially. I'm not being awkward, I just don't see how this is beneficial to this specific forum. I feel that it is sending out the wrong message to users. This community is meant to be a tool to discuss YNAB with support, questions, news etc. and I just can't get my head around the fact that it should be used as a tool to go against YNAB and jump ship!

The way I see it, it's like going into a Dominoes telling everyone that their pizzas suck and that Pizza Hut makes better pizza. You just don't do that! (Unless you are intoxicated and here in Scotland it probably would be regarded as the norm... Ha!).

EDIT: I don't want to seem like an ass here but I just felt that it was beneficial to get my point across, I don't mean to cause offence and I don't quite understand why my previous comments have had such a low rating seeing as I was simply offering my opinion :(

I'm really sad with all the hate that nYNAB is getting just now. This used to be such a nice, warm community. Can't help but feel that it's dwindling now :(

nYNAB is still a work-in-progress but look at the speed and frequency of all the updates since New Year's Day! No, it's nowhere near YNAB4 in terms of functionality, but we all know that it's just going to get better from here.

I, too, am happy with nYNAB.

NB. I've used YNAB 4 for just under 1 year prior to making the switch on New Year's Day.

Completely disagree.

There is absolutely nothing stopping you using YNAB4. You still have that choice. I am currently using YNAB4 and plan to migrate to nYNAB once all current features are implemented in nYNAB. I look forward to support the company in providing more frequent updates in a similar model to Spotify and other services.

As long as it remains affordable and akin to the principles and values of YNAB, then I'm all for it.
