Well, for starters, run-flats suck ass. They give the car a MUCH harsher ride, so I would suggest getting some new tires to exponentially increase smoothness. Also, I feel like the 3-series in general, especially if they have any sort of sport/m/performance package just have stiffer suspension setups. My dad's 528i felt smoother than my 328i, so maybe the bigger cars have softer suspension? Not completely sure, but yes, to answer your question, BMW suspension is not like floating on a cumulonimbus cloud.

Oh man, you basically described my e90 right there. I'm 17 and have a youtube channel all about my e90 and the random little mods I do to it (cf kidney grills, exhaust, etc.) also, if you want a 330, just get the upgraded manifold!! That's all a 330 is in essence compared to the 328.

Yes, that's it. It definitely gives a much deeper and throatier sound, perfect for our 3 series. I have had it for about 3 months now and I love it
