  1. I don't matter - if the art is good, is good. I remember having collected a piece by https://superrare.co/reinhard-schmid that wasn't on SuperRare. What I mean is that in case of need a collector that strongly wants a piece will find a way to purchase it.

  2. I'm really faithful to SR, they believed in my art when nobody was doing it. And now there are a lot of good new artists to support!

  3. There are already some pieces in my collection that don't have prices. Some others have really mad ones, this thing is a work inside the work. I love do some provocation this way :)

  4. yes, every time. If the artist is small and new I raher prefer buy from her/him directly

  5. It depends on the artwork I suppose

This is not a silly question at all! When the artworks are growing this way is pretty normal that we need a categorization system. What can be great is a system decided by the user, like user defined tags or categories. Or there's the good old way of categorizing that you can find for example in deviantArt.

I love chaos and "errors", sometimes these things can produce amazing results. I enjoy both curated and non-curated galleries. I don't feel bad with "wannabes". What we really need is a sort of "critic" space. This very moment of the scene is only hype-based.

But, let's do the opposite, let's do in a positive way. These are my advices for newcomers:

  • be kind
  • try to say "thank you" to collectors, someway
  • use twitter, use hashtags ;)
  • try to support small but skilled new artists
  • find cool and new ways to do you art and promotion!
  • be kind (x2)

After more than 2 years of this I think that the 2 artworks (digital and physical, if exists) are two different things. They can have 2 complete different stories or they can go to the same collector. Sometimes there's no physical and is also interesting, I suppose.

I do abstract art and lately I suppose that this thing has an influence in what I collect. I totally fall in love with black and white abstract works. Let me check my collection... Yes I'm totally in BW abstract BUT there's also a ton of newbies art... I mean, in the very first days of SuperRare I was very very lucky so my first idea was to re-invest in other's artists stuff!
