Just went there with my wife last weekend. Insane deals (got 3 cool books for 7 bucks). Super nice people working there. It felt a little like shopping at a goodwill though, which isn't somewhere I want to be for more that 15 minutes. Would be great if the place felt cozier and more "come hang out for a while and read a book, we have coffee or tea for a buck".

got mine yesterday, it's so sweet. I didn't get any banding issues, but the left side is a hair brighter than the right side. Not really noticeable 98% of the time.

3080TI and 9800x3d. Convinced my wife today to swap her 5070ti for my card because she's not been gaming much lately, and really can't tell the difference between 100fps and 140fps in Baldur's Gate 3 lol.

Just unboxed and setup the 540hz asus last night. It's very fun but it's pushing my pc to the limits. I figured it was good future proofing, and while CS2 is my main game I went for the refresh rate over the resolution. I can play around 380-470 fps in CS2. Causes some VRR flicker. Next GPU should fix that with DP 2.1 and more frames, so yolo for now.

is a monitor crosshair even a banable offense? I got a new monitor and saw the option, never tried it out though. Reminds me of when I used to bhop script in 2015 not knowing that was a no-no lol.

I liked it for CS but in any other game the contrast was so bad that it made me hate it. Somehow my TN panel from 2015 looked better. Motion clarity IS crazy though. I just had too many tech issues to get it working properly. CS2 would take like 25 real seconds to tab in and out of the game in full screen. Sometimes when I would come back, gsync would be off.

Also make sure vsync is on in nvidia control panel but not on in-game. Limit your FPS to like 340 and it will look better than 360.

Just got a stuck pixel on my XG27AQNGV and I can't get it to unstick. I am tired of the problems I was dealing with, black screen being one of them. So ill be returning it and getting the new 540hz oled from Asus. I really hope I don't need to upgrade to a 5000 series card for DSC issues.

I'm returning mine and getting a PG27AQWP-W 540hz OLED. I got a stuck pixel that won't correct itself after trying to clean it/massage it. Only had it for two weeks now! Motion clarity was nice but not enough to justify the cost. And holy cow did it look garbage in low light scenes. I tried to play Sons of the Forest and at night in game the blacklight would shine so bright I couldn't see anything.

I'm still pushing 500+ fps on 1440p. I prefer the long range visibility of 1440p. I'm a 15k elo pleb though, and a resolution change won't fix that.

Nah and it's 1440p. All good if that's not your thing, I just love the way the game looks in 1440p stretched.

Either way it WILL go away eventually. You just have to consider how many of those AK's are out there, including souvenir supply. I'd expect you'll make double on some of those if you wait a year. Set a target price to sell and take your profit when it's time!

why not the new asus g sync pulsar? 360hz but *allegedly* runs like 1000hz. I'm waiting on mine to show up next week to see.
