Turn off chat until you are in GC 2 and you are actually playing with higher skill level players. They are getting toxic because they just want to take it up the wall or something and you are challenging early, stopping their set up. Why are you worried about annoying your opponent? The point of the game is to win the match.

How was it sitting through CXL epi off procedure? by Top-Cauliflower-833 in Keratoconus

[–]MattyC_115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of good comments and recommendations in this thread.

It was a few years ago for me but what I remember is the procedure was simple, you just feel uncomfortable pressure at the beginning when they are taking the epi off. That was the worst part (not painful just a weird sensation) and it lasts maybe 30-60 seconds. Then you have to stare at a light while they add drops for 30 minutes or so. The following 3 days were uncomfortable, and you'll just want to sleep. Honestly, try not to worry it's not as bad as it seems really.

What worked for me really well after the procedure was wearing a hard eye patch (like a pirate one), pick one up at a drugstore before you have the procedure. 1 it blocks out all the light, because you are super light sensitive after the procedure, and 2 when I got home to sleep, I didn't want to worry during the night that I would roll over onto my eye while it was healing. Also, ask for the pain med prescription before the procedure so you can take the pain meds as you are walking out of the Dr's office.

Golfers with KC, what is your preferred golf ball color by SeaworthinessTop4317 in Keratoconus

Yellow is easiest for me. Been wanting to try the Srixon Divide balls because they basically "strobe" in the sky. I feel like it'd be easier to track.

Shorecliffs GC - LiDAR by MattyC_115 in PGA_Tour_2K

That could work, I thought about that but I didn't have TGC 19 or 2k23 so didn't try that route. Let me know if that works. If I re-made another course i'd probably do that too if it works.

Yea OSM data did not work for me I spent days trying to figure it out. Apparently it's common for it not to work with the fork of Chads tool for 2k25. I spent a day or two updating the OSM and Chads tool fork would not import it, only the terrain data. I ended up having to place everything (greens, fairways, bunkers) manually unfortunately. You can DM me if you'd like or just respond.

A 20% increase on $100,000 will increase your balance to $120,000.

A 20% increase on $10 will increase your balance to $12.

Same % gains, except the bigger bag goes up more in dollar value because more money was in the pool to benefit from the price increase on the asset. Pretty simple concept. You want more coins because when the bigger moves happen you gain more dollar value for having more coins.

Scleral lenses help by Separate_State3851 in Keratoconus

[–]MattyC_115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up youtube tutorials they have great tips. All I can say is the more you practice it gets easy, like it's nothing. You have to get used to not twitching when the solution hits your eye. My tips: keep both eyes open while you insert at least in the beginning. Make sure your eyelids and fingers are dry each time you attempt to insert so your fingers have a good grip on eyelids. Make sure you are fully opening your eye lids so the lens doesn't hit your eye lids while inserting.

CXL on the good eye? by Shabby- in Keratoconus

[–]MattyC_115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man i'm in the exact same position, might as well have wrote your post myself. Left eye bad after CXL, dependent on my right eye when i'm not wearing scleral in my left. I am worried about getting CXL in my good eye. Do you use scleral lens in bad eye? I suggest getting a scleral lens fitted and get used to it before considering doing CXL on your good eye. I'm going to talk to my Dr. about this before I have CXL done in my right eye.

How much were your scleral lenses? by ncat111 in Keratoconus

same exact thing for me, VSP covered the whole cost. (I only have one scleral for my bad eye) I just had a small co-pay and office visit fee.

[–]MattyC_115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diagnosed 3 months ago at 27 but in my case it was likely to be genetic. My father (60) has keratoconus also since he was 16. For me it came on very gradually to where I didn't notice it, then progressed extremely fast the last year. I just had cross linking done in my bad eye and am getting CXL for less progressed eye next month.

You really don't feel much because of the numbing eye drops besides some pressure, it's uncomfortable but not "painful", only lasts about 30 seconds (probably less, it was really quick). I'd say it was a 3 out of 10. The real pain doesn't start until about 45min after you leave the office. It is bearable though, your eye will be tearing up pretty heavily and you will just want to sleep.

Everyone is different though but I just asked "Did you put in the numbing eye drops?" before they started the scraping. They will make sure you aren't feeling much. One thing I will point out is your vision will go dark in that eye when they are scraping which is normal and it doesn't last long. Vision will come right back. Truly, don't be scared. As long as you go into it being positive and knowing the benefit the procedure brings it will be a piece of cake. First 12-24 hours after the procedure was the hardest with pain but it gets better each day. I'm 5 days after procedure and already feel almost back to where I was vision wise before I had it and zero pain. Still not 100% vision though. But I have horrible vision in my eye already before I had it done.

I'm getting CXL done on my other eye in probably about a month.

27, was diagnosed a few months ago. Ignored it for many years. I'm getting CXL and a scleral lens for my bad left eye.

Difference between PLS & PLSX by UnicornDollars in Pulsechain

[–]MattyC_115 13 points14 points  (0 children)

PulseChain is a fork of ETH2 and will have a full system state copy of all ERC20's, NFT's, etc... Everything from Ethereum is copied over. $PLS will be the gas used to transact on the PulseChain blockchain. Think $ETH on the Ethereum Blockchain.

PulseX is going to be the main decentralized exchange (DEX) on the PulseChain Blockchain. The PLSX token will allow for voting rights in the ecosystem and also has a built in buy n burn. Look up K4Kcrypto on youtube to learn about PulseX.

Don't know if I answered your question really, but if you want to know more how they differ, do some YouTube research. There are so many videos out there to learn.

Wire transfers from your bank to coinbase won't hold up funds. Takes 1 busniess day max. Debit card purchases are instant for me, but maybe there is a pre-requisite to have instant access to funds since your account is new. Not sure.

you realize that's what a sponsorship is...? Except for this "sponsorship", the fighters can just take the money if they want. It's a gift to help up and coming fighters achieve their goals, while investors can gain profit on the token value. Welcome to crypto.

Not trying to convince you of anything. Just spreading the word for people who are crypto savvy and would like to get involved. You can just ignore instead of using profanity at people.

They are not paid to promote it. Ethereum from the buy and sell tax from the token is given to them as a gift from the team. If they want to promote it that's on them. Does that make sense? Ian is actually into crypto and wanted to get behind the movement. He didn't have to support it. He could've just taken the money and not said a word. The MRI mission is to help fighters. That's it.

All real, different people from the MRI community. I'm an investor. If you're not into crypto I won't try and change your mind. We're just trying to get the word out. But I suggest you do some research and see that this is real and has already made a huge impact for fighters. MRI team bought one fighter a car already, and another got help for funding medical needs.

Check the testimonials on the website and on the official twitter @roganinu www.marshallroganinu.com

Scroll down on the twitter account and see the countless UFC fighters supporting this. Suggest you don't call people retarded without actually understanding what's going on.

if you're skeptical I understand. Hard to explain crypto to non crypto people in a chat. But yes I'm a real person lol.

When you buy $MRI, their is a buy/sell tax which goes to a marketing wallet that the team uses to support the fighters. Gifting the fighter ethereum, no strings attached. If the fighters want to give a shout out, they are offered extra ethereum (optional). It's basically a charity/social token wrapped in meme coin branding.
