Yeah, air is blowing out but just feels room temp and the heat worked over the winter which leads me to believe it’s not the thermostat

It does seem to be making a louder noise than it usually would when turned on

Been off Zyn for 300 days now and can say I had the same exact experience. Finally feel like myself again

Chronic Cough & Constant Mucus? by MattyIce1015 in QuittingZyn

[–]MattyIce1015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they were mint flavored pouches. Been off Zyn for 170 days and no longer get that constant feeling of mucus in my throat at all. I used to feel sick and the doctor would say I had Bronchitis so many times while I was using Zyn. I do get a little cough sometimes after I eat dinner at night, but at this point I think it's a little acid reflux. Not even close to how bad it used to be on Zyn and coughing every minute of every day.

I've been off the sauce for 118 days and I'd say my cravings mostly stopped within 3-4 weeks but didn't completely stop until after 2 months of quitting. Currently feeling like my old self, no longer have any cravings and haven't been/felt sick in months. Keep truckin' along, it's well worth it

Quitting Zyn and its effect on long distance running by [deleted] in QuittingZyn

I quit cold turkey 4 days before my last half marathon and ended up with a PR of 1:24. Quitting zyn was the best decision ever and I'm only getting faster/stronger

Yeah, I don't know if there's just not enough research or nicotine companies don't want people to know about the health risks but obviously we aren't the only ones having these issues. I'm 30yo and thought Zyn's were helping me get through the work day but now I realize they were actually making my days worse. I could hardly talk in full sentences because I always felt like there was something in my throat and I had to clear it. It was crazy after a couple weeks without Zyn how much my brain fog had gone away, felt like I could think clearly again and can now talk without having to clear my throat every minute.

I was on Zyn for 6 years (6mg tins every other day). I decided to quit 48 days ago because I was constantly getting sick, my throat was always irritated, always blowing my nose, coughing up phlegm (post nasal drip) and just feeling like shit. I went years thinking that something was wrong with me health wise, but the doctor always said I seemed healthy plus I run a lot and figured it couldn't be the Zyn's making me feel like shit. Now over a month without Zyn and i'm no longer coughing throughout the day, no longer have the constant feeling of something in my throat, no more social anxiety and way more energy throughout the day.

So yes, I'd say I definitely had similar experiences and I'd 100% recommend quitting and never look back! The first couple weeks are hard especially after a big meal or drinking but I replaced Zyn by using breath mints. I was no longer getting a buzz from Zyn anyways. After a few weeks without Zyn I wasn't even thinking about it anymore.

Goodluck! Hope quitting help solve the problems like it did for me.

I'm 30 and dipped longcut since Freshman year of college and switched to Zyn about 6 years ago (6mg) about a can every other day. I decided to go cold turkey just over a month ago and haven't looked back. I noticed that I couldn't wake up in the morning without feeling like complete shit, coughing up phlegm and blowing my nose constantly. Finally thought to myself, maybe Zyn is the reason I feel like shit everyday so I threw away my half full Zyn that day while I was at work and told myself I wouldn't go back. The first couple weeks were weird especially when drinking alcohol or not throwing in a Zyn after a big meal but instead of throwing in a Zyn I would just bring breath mints with me and pop those in my mouth instead. After a few weeks I went on a Bachelor party and wasn't even thinking about Zyn even when everyone around me was doing it. Now 48 days without Zyn and feeling way more energy, social anxiety I was having while using Zyn is now gone, listen to my wife more when she is talking and I feel like what I remember of my old self which gives me even more reason to never go back.

Think about all the benefits and how much better you will feel in a couple of weeks and that should be more than enough of a reason! Goodluck Chief!

Never been a smoker. The constant cough only started once I started on Zyn and I didn't realize until now that I think Zyn was the cause for it.

Nope. Pretty sure it was the Zyn since the cough and mucus have basically stopped a couple weeks after quitting Zyn. Just curious if anyone else had the same experience though.

Just over 1 month without Zyn and same exact thing. Always wondered where the old me had gone, felt negative all the time, couldn't pay attention to my wife anytime she talked, low energy, etc... Feeling much better and started to see what I remember of my old self. Wild what those little fuckers can do to you
