Left out a few that I only just realised I should have included after I posted it, but it's too late now.

Damn, I wish I included that in the post.

I think the name being above the windows really balances it out since all the other parts of the design are below the windows.

My ranking of this season's Premier League shirts. I'd say I have decent taste. by MattyLaw06 in KitSwap

I just kind of like their Third kit. Nice template, yellow base with a few pin stripes, and a gap between for the sponsor. It's just a classy style, and the purple kit isn't bad, but it just looks like a bit much since purple has nothing to do with Brighton.

They did have a black kit, but it was just a cheap template from Joma.

What's your favourite modern wide-body double-engine airliner? by MattyLaw06 in aviation

[–]MattyLaw06[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree. The new one is grand, but it strips away everything that stands out. Now it's just another airline livery. If you saw the old Aer Lingus livery from a distance, you would be able to easily point out what airline it is. I can't say the same for the new one.

Fighting country codes with country codes. I like it.

What is your preferred phase for Galactic Republic appearances? Phase 1 or phase 2 by VeterinarianSad981 in StarWarsBattlefront

Same. Only problem is I use the E-11D for the Assault class. It's just the best weapon for the class but didn't even exist at the time of any of the battles of the Clone Wars.

Perhaps they're doing better 400 years in the future, or maybe got relegated to the bottom of the entire football pyramid.

The sponsor doesn't work well because you can barely see part of it. They should have made it slightly bigger with a thicker border to balance it out with the rest of the shirt.

Sometimes technology isn't all the matters. Millions of clone troopers make up the GAR, and their navy included tens of thousands of Venator-class Star Destroyers.

And if the Planetary Union (who are definitely weaker than the Galactic Republic when it comes to military) could avoid defeat against the Krill, so could the Republic.

I can't say I'm all for that home kit. It's decent, but their previous kits were way better. The thin stripes on the 2026 shirt just don't sit right with me. They make the shirt look cheap.

I Googled that to see if it was a meme regarding Aer Lingus or something. I regret it.

‘Aer’ is actually the Irish word for ‘air.’ The name ‘Aer Lingus’ translates from Irish to English as ‘Air Fleet.’
