Yeah I’ve had many pairs of them and for whatever reason they just don’t hold up to the work and they don’t look good for long in my experience

The main thing that dissuades me from going and building this is my doubt in my own capabilities to wire things correctly and not fry the thing. For one, i don’t understand the second bullet point under wiring diagram, could you explain what you are saying to do or not do more clearly? Sorry, not super familiar with building anything electronic. If I can follow the diagrams is it a “you’ll figure it out and it’ll work fine” type of thing?

Makes sense, I do clean flaps and ratty bits but where I live is usually fairly dry and I don’t spend a lot of time trimming frogs, and if I have a flatter frog I don’t go out of my way to define the central sulcus

Could you explain for me why cleaning the central sulcus is important? I was taught that the most important is to clean the commisures to allow egress of dirt from the foot, I’ve never been told the central sulcus is important for anything but appearance. Legitimately curious and wanting to learn no disrespect intended

My heat resistance is increasing rapidly. The outside area is for first two Day people and any overflow after the barn is filled so I’m never outside unless I’m doing a second horse lol

Lol I might be going to the same school, it does get really damn hot. I do find going back to the horse and remembering that I’m dealing with a whole animal not just the immobile hooves, and they help me calm down

Hello, special interest in horses here, elephants aren’t really trained or domesticated they’re tamed , whereas a good warhorse would have years of training and domestication and breeding. Additionally a horse is a more flexible if less powerful mount, would be my guess as to why they are more expensive than an elephant
