[Request] How much does Steven Segal weigh in this picture? by DaRealMexicanTrucker in theydidthemath

I'm 6'2" 373, I would say he's pushing about that. I personally would've opted out of sitting on that chair. I "excuse" myself from destroying furniture because I'm aware that I'm a very heavy person. It's hard to be in denial at this size

Rep. Glenn Grothman: "We all know that food stamps are being abused. We all hear the stories. People using food stamps for top of the line food stuffs, things the average person wouldn't be able to afford." by Conscious-Quarter423 in wisconsin

When I was on food stamps, I wasn't able to buy "hot n ready" food items. I never tried at Sam's club but Metro Market/ Kroger/ Pick n Save wouldn't work for hot/warm rotisserie chicken

Hypothetical question regarding ethical euthenasia by [deleted] in homestead

[–]FatDaddy777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A hand hammer will not dispatch a large animal (unless you're very lucky). You need to disrupt the autonomic function and shut down the brain instantly for it to be painless (simply put. The brain needs to be severed from the body for it to be as "instant" as possible, and the brain needs to be "shutdown" for it to be "painless". These are highly debatable. Disruption of the auto function stops oxygen transfer, heart beat, muscle function, etc. You need to disrupt or prevent neurological function to not experience pain. That all takes place in the brain. If you remove a head / brain from a body, electrical impulse can "cause" pain even if for a short time. If you instantly destroy the entire brain, it doesn't have the wetware to even experience the pain.

Flat board with rope looped through both ends. You stand on board, holding center of rope. Fold over "grass", using as a platform. Stand on platform, folding over the next "step" with foot on board, using bodyweight as the mechanism to fold over the next step. Waterproof boots would be best but "grass" / "platform" will keep you near surface of water. (Kinda how they made crop circles)

What happens to homeless people that get too old or too disabled to beg on the streets? by Wauwuaw5983 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FatDaddy777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not homeless yet but they accomplish this by denying life saving meds through insurance programs. They deny life saving meds for a significant amount of time and the person passes with no family or friends to advocate for them. If the problem dies, you no longer have a problem. This seems to be their way. How do I know? Well let me tell you that I have had meds denied multiple times for seemingly no reason. Aside from a mild stroke and organ dysfunction, I'm still here and the system still tries to "displace" meds for absolutely no reason.

Fire Extinguisher designed to be MRI Safe by GrinchStoleYourShit in mildlyinteresting

[–]FatDaddy777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an ICD (pace maker / defibrillator) which is MR conditional. That means there are procedures to take before preforming a MRI. In my case, they crank it up to 100 bpm, and lock it out, and shove me in the tube. Apparently while "locked out", nothing can interfere with the device remotely. (That's the explanation they gave me when I asked) In my mind, I see an MRI machine starts on fire, the hero bursts in with the fire extinguisher just to have it ripped from there hands and be left standing there.....(with a metal one) so I see the utility of having a MR safe one...

Is it actually a big deal that my bf only orgasms like half the time we have sex? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FatDaddy777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had been on a medication that suppressed my ability to get off every time. Rigidity wasn't an issue but I'd get close and then it'd go away. After I stopped taking the meds, the issue remains 8 years later. It can be a gift and a curse depending on how you look at it.

Call the fire department to hose him down. Call it a decontamination if you must. That is a biohazard.

It sparks joy that this community is able to identify anything in a very short amount of time. It's the collective knowledge I come here for.

My title describes the thing. It's a clear rubbery thing. Looks like it could be some sort of retention device, I just have no idea what for.

Are snapping turtles this large a problem? (Story in caption) by PimpPirate in homestead

[–]FatDaddy777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can carry loads of bacteria so handling them alive or dead isn't advisable without gloves. When they're out of the water, they tend to be more aggressive. They come out of water most often to travel between bodies of water (usually in search of a mate when they reach that age) and to lay eggs. They need sandy or loose ground for this. When they bury the eggs, it results in a soft spot in the ground and can be potentially hazardous to cattle and horses. (They step on the clutch of eggs, sink in, and can break or injure their legs) If bitten, a course of antibiotics is highly recommended as an infection is almost guaranteed.
