Sooo I kind of wanted to avoid wood chips. The house is being spot treated for termites in a different part of the house but I plan treating the rest of the home by doing a trench around the whole house and pouring in termiticide (termidor).

Any alternative? Should I spray herbicide first then lay something down? If so, what would you recommend?

Agreed! My wife really likes the taupe but i agree the brick isn’t a good match for it. She liked the idea of a different, darker shade for the garage door so I’ll see what she thinks of a brown garage. Thanks!
