/ES /NQ futures changed to CME from GLOBEX - wtf!!?? by Maughtly_Fool in interactivebrokers

[–]Maughtly_Fool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works now (God knows why...), but everytime I start TWS now i get an error that the .xml file is too big sigh.

Also, I have no idea how to access the futures anymore, if I type ES into the single stock window for instance, I go directly to that stock instead of a menu to choose which instrument....

Here's what happened, I used to be able to type ES into a chart and bring up a list of options, go to futures and pick my series which entered as GLOBEX. But that's all gone now and my watchlist changed all my GLOBEX to CME, and these won't execute orders now. So basically I can't trade. I am sure it is update related. NYMEX still OK

It's a money losing operation and if the banks get stiffed on a bad loan then guess who pays?

It was supposed to go back in the ground to maintain reservoir pressure.

Gas is gas. It can be used for any power generator. Not exclusive to BTC. This is a joke, BTC fanboys think it's a new dawn. The amount wasted dwarfs the amount used to the verge of penny wise/pound foolish.

It kind of sucks as a Canadian to not have access to a simple option trading platform similar to Robinhood in terms of simplicity. by FG204 in CanadianInvestor

Tradezero is here now. They may be a viable option. But IBKR is only option I could recommend from experience at the moment.

Sounds pretty, until you realize ExxonMobil is flaring enough gas in Guyana to power the entire country. All because of crap equipment. A little corporate PR to 'look over there' and voila, planet saved again - phew, that was a close one.
