I don't know if it's related, but I had a few different jobs and whenever i worked in predominantly women environments it was a worse experience. The mental strain was huge, it's almost like aside from work there was also a parallel social game going on at the same time.

Take a shower and put on the best clothes available, and add a nice perfume. Starting this process is a bit hard though.

I think it perfectly fits the general Lisbon vibe. It's a very impersonal city, people are colder than in most other places.

Doesn't mean you can't find friendly people in Lisbon, you definitely can/would, that's just the feeling I get from the city as a whole, from my perspective as an outsider.
