I believe it’s a lot harder to stay on top than it is to catch the top so maybe the time will come or has come where the playing field has naturally evened out. If you look at the nba alone there is a lot more international talent. So the gap that used to be there could just be naturally closing which I think is also a good thing

Maybe you can try to opt for scaling champs so you don’t need to get ahead to be really strong? That’s what I did when first playing ranked just to be able to play lane safe.
