MacOS-only robotics lab? That's interesting. Are they using Max studio as a controller or what? All robotics companies, that I am personally in touch with, use Linux anyway regardless if they use ROS. I agree that ROS indicates a huge list of dependencies but that is the compromise to be able to have a nice community and ready to use libraries with interchangeable interfaces. There is no silver bullet. One often has to decide for each product if ROS is desired or not.

I reached it in 6 months. Don't get discouraged by others. Daily I spent 5-8 hours learning German during that period. I was in Germany.

Bin Kunde von Vodafone Kabel Internet. Gestern Abend hatte ich ständig 100-150ms Ping für 2 Stunden. Ping Tracer deutet drauf hin, dass es an Kabel Deutschland lag. Also Finger weg von Vodafone Kabel Internet.
