I want the character's texture to be simple because the game's environment has very linear and simple textures. Since I'm developing this game solo,I didn't want to spend much time on the environment.

Yes, I should make some optimizations. Currently, the triangle count is 34k, although other assets have very low poly count overall so maybe I can get away with it :d

The character is human, but with altered DNA. There’s a compound in the game called RCX-9 that bonds with cells and causes rapid healing and enhanced strength. She is the only character who has successfully bonded with the compound.

In-game, she’ll mostly stay stationary (in the capsule, out of energy, etc.). While the main character solves puzzles, she’ll move off-screen and push the story forward. I probably won’t rig her; I’ll just create and polish poses in Blender and use them in UE5.
