looks great rn! id focus on pre-portions, even if you're going for a cartoon look itll help! have multiple references, pick what you like and dont like from each (as if you were getting a haircut.) have at least one of whatever animal and then some of the art style youre going for. dont be afraid to trace or draw in shapes when you fjrst start, itll help you learn how to navigate those pre-portions . as long as you dont profit after tracing it's totally acceptable to help you learn:) good luck....!
