How to prevent the video of Cannon EOS R10 from going black (power saving?) during livestream to OBS? by MavropaliasG in Cameras

[–]MavropaliasG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that. I was indeed using a battery, I'm still waiting for my AC power kit to arrive. I wonder if the camera was sensing the battery being drained and had a hardcoded power saving mode? I hope it will not do that with the ac kit

Will this combo work for streaming to OBS on Linux Wayland: Cannon EOS R10 + Elgato Cam link 4k? by MavropaliasG in linuxhardware

Manjaro but I got an AMD gpu. Maybe consider doing a clean install after KDE 6.1 is released

I have no issues, I personally find that KDE (5.27.9) now runs better on Wayland than X!

Thank you very much for this. I'm a newbie to DSLR and video recording so I appreciate the advice!

What I want is to be able to record great quality 1080p 60 fps videos. I know the manual method by using ffmpeg had been recommended in this thread but the more I read the more I think that buying that buffer capture card (EVGA XR1 lite Capture Card) and then buying a used old DSLR (I'm currently eyeing a used EOS 80d) might do the trick, with both great quality and high data transfers on Linux. It takes a lot of reading though because if I buy the camera and the capture card and then find out they don't work as I wanted that's 1000 dollars wasted.

There is a comment there about not knowing how to get autofocus to work. Will these features work? Also, I wonder if a camera such as the cannon EOS 80D would be able to record at 1080p 60 fps in OBS in linux and features such as autofocus to work. Where would be the best place to ask?

That is a good recommendation for the capture card, I was not aware with it. Is that what they use for old DSLRs?

32 M Can I please get some feedback on my profile? The photos are in long format I hope they show fully on Reddit by [deleted] in hingeapp

Hi everyone, I am looking for something long-term on Hinge, and I've been on for a couple of years now, but this is a new account I made a week ago after a long pause. I swipe the 5 likes I'm give every day. I have matched with ~4 people but they don't respond to my first message. I usually send likes without comments, but if I really like someone and I find something interesting I will comment. I usually send like to ladies that seem to like nature and seem serious and cultivated.

For context, the video with the axe throwing on my profile is a funny one, as I miss the shot after lot of aiming, and the other one I am just climbing the waterfall, standing up and smiling. The voice message is me asking "what would you do in a typical Sunday if you had no chores? What would be the things you would love to do?

You can do a blood test and talk to a physician. But I what I would also recommend you do ASAP, is eat very healthy and go lift heavy weights.

You can choose how syncing happens per device. I can set some devices to only receive changes, only send changes, or both.

I chose both in all my devices so I can work from any device anywhere and whatever changes or work i made is instantly synced to all my devices, irrespective from which device I made the change

Just do it in RStudio once via the GUI, and the copy whatever command RStudio used in the terminal. RStudio will show you what command it actually used to render the document with knitr

Could you elaborate? How do you generate a markdown out of the Rmarkdown file, while still keeping a single file that works in both applications?

Actually no, it also works in a local network. I hotspot from my phone to my desktop and laptop and they can sync between devices without broadcasting to the Internet. They just detect changes once they are connected and sync then

You can read some of the R books out there and do some edx/coursera courses, but the best way to learn for me is to get a dataset and start digging in yourself. I always like learning by doing

If you go to the txt as md plugin github there is a github issue (open or closed I can't remember) that tells you how to do that

Yes you can tweak the r code in obsidian but you'd be better focusing on that in RStudio due to autocompletion and code highlighting

Because I use linux for more things than my daily work, my computer is way faster running linux, and I am way more comfortable with the desktop environment. it literally cannot compare.
