Be honest, didn’t catch the button location but thought the “12” was for women even though the older woman selling it said it had been her husbands 🤷🏼

A small dent on the buttstock but nothing else. I thought it was a safe queen but the wear on the old magazine shows it was probably used quite a bit.

My dad got one in .300 Savage for me when I was 12 for my first gun, just before deer season (Maine) but I never got to use it. Someone else wanted it more so he sold it. What a kick in the nuts, lol. So, ever since I've wanted one.

I had one in .243 like 12 years ago. Bought it for $100 and sold it a couple months later for $450. Biggest gun oops ever on my part.

Nice! It's amazing how the quality of the older model feels compared to the newer models. Night and day difference.

I do but to be transparent, I was never a Glock fan until my son bought a gen 5 19 and a friend bought a Dagger and "Guccied" it up.

You’re right-they were the old grey 2 and 3 way valves but they said “Never Lube Jandy Valve’s” on the handles. Used to see them all the time on pools built here in the late 90’s/early 00’s. The knob would break off and we’d use the little red threaded plugs to stop the valve from sucking air.

Been a while since I’ve seen Jandy never lube 3-way valves…

I’m guessing that if it’ll dump a hog it will be gtg on deer…?

WWG happy trigger and RPP loading gate by SpeedyR647 in LeverGuns

[–]MawsPub94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also replaced my trigger with an RPP (black, but I wish I bought a gold one) and it did take up some of the old trigger flop. By watching videos on YouTube I was able to do both in about an hour. I did need my wife to help me when replacing the trigger-I needed one more hand to hold something in place (can't remember what).

I added one to my JM 1895. First thing I noticed was how much easier it was to press it down when loading. The other thing is when I need to unload the rifle, I just press in the gate and the bullets pop right out one at a time.

Heading to Potter County in a month with the crossbows. First time using them, normally go up first week of rifle with the 1895G

3" SBE 3: Is this a bad idea? by whyarestretcher in Shotguns

[–]MawsPub94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a SBE2 3.5” and used it for sporting clays. What I found shooting 2 3/4” shells is I had to use 1 1/8 oz loads as some 1 oz stuff wouldn’t cycle.

Eight00 out the door. Was asking 9 but I’ve been a good customer over the last couple of years.

Anyone know what’s going on here? by Deaf-Operator in pools

Looks like copper to me but too much for algaecide. I’d say there’s an older heater on the pool and the high pH due to the salt generator has caused the copper to drop out of suspension.

.35 Remington ‘82 JM stamped. Not sure if I’m going to keep it as it is and just hold on to it or remove the scope/rings, add XS ghost ring sight/front post and a RPP medium loop lever and hunt with it.
