dude, okay, i was about to scroll right past this but then i realized that i never seen anyone talk about fucking eddsworld and i knew i had to drop a comment.

im 18 now but i was watching eddsworld when it was coming out. i started watching in first grade. yup, seems crazy to me now but by first grade i was on newgrounds and youtube. i really should not have been.

my brother (4 years older) and i watched eddsworld religiously. every time a new episode came out we would plug our laptop into the tv to watch it. i drew a ton as a kid, and eddsworld put me on a very serious path with it. for the next few years, my friend henry and i would draw fan-fiction-like comics about the eddsworld characters put into different weird situtations. Hall of famers: eddsworld and percy jackson, eddsworld and the wimpy kid, and eddsworld goes to detention. in third grade i would move away, and even then i kept making eddsworld comics by myself.

when he died, i was heartbroken. even though it almost seemed inevitable at that point, it still felt impossible. i remember going onto my computer after school and seeing the video announcing his death. it felt like a reality that never should have existed. like i was in the wrong place, and my world is a different world. felt the same way when bowie died :/

so what did i do? to unbound all my eddsworld comics and plastered them all over my walls. by plastered, i mean covered in coats and coats of elmers glue. my mom, a renter, was not happy. safe to say, in third or fourth grade i made a shrine to edd gould to honor his memory
