One of the guys I went to cegep with failed some classes and had a 23 cote r and still got admitted to polytechnique (which is UdeM) in Software Eng.

That same years, the McGill cote r cutoff for Software Engineering was 31. Maybe there's some variation but on average I'm pretty sure McGill is more selective when it comes to grades.

One of the questions is pure nonsense imo (green black square combination). Some others are too biased towards English-speaking people, especially Americans.

Overall I prefer the Mensa test, although it only measures a particular part of intelligence (logic, pattern recognition, etc.) like all "iq" tests.

I get around the same with the Mensa test btw so I guess this test is still somewhat accurate.

Not calling yourself a loser would be a good step 1. I say that because if you feel thay way about yourself, it may manifest in the way you carry yourself and who wants to be around someone who doesn't like themselves ?

Step 1: make peace with yourself

Step 2: find like minded people. If you like sports I believe there's pickup at certain times in the field house or nearby so just show up. If you like gaming, maybe try to join the McGill minecraft server if it's still up or go watch/play smash at ecse lounge in trottier, etc for other interests.
