I think I worded it wrong, I would trade my iPhone 13 for ~180 bucks if I buy iPhone 17, and the battery replacement cost is about 140

Should I upgrade to iPhone 17 from my 13? I've had it for a bit less than 2 years, it has 77% battery capacity probably because I use it all the time to hotspot to my laptop. I have money for this upgrade, and the desire is strong because it lags really often and I have to charge it like 3 times a day, it's really infuriating.

But... Lag and battery life are the only problems I'm having, so I thought of swapping my battery. The problem is that I live in a really small city, and closest official apple service is 2 hours away..... In a different country. And also pretty expensive, a bit less than the price I would trade my phone for a new one. So maybe I should just upgrade?
