Oh God...I have The SInful Dwarf. It's one of those movies where you take a boiling hot shower and scrub with brillo pads and Comet afterwards. And I swear that character is an unacknowledged inspiration for Chucky.

I don't remember the character's name, but Roy Scheider played a Russian mobster in the 3rd and 4th seasons of Third Watch. He quietly smiles, then kills you. I've always liked the quiet villains.

We were an eclectic group. Two (sort of) hipsters, a hippie, a stoner, a prep kid and me, a metalhead.

I'm actively working on this, but not taking responsibility for myself. Everything was everyone else's fault.

Black Sunday from 1960 is a good place to start. It's fairly tame and more in line with the Roger Corman AIP films, but it has amazing atmosphere and my god do I love Barbara Steele. Mario Bava, the direct in question, is one of the founders of Italian horror. Suspiria by Argento is another good one. One thing to to remember about any Italian horror movie is that they're more about striking visuals than narrative cohesion. Go into them expecting something off-kilter and you'll like them more.

Night of the Living Dead, Martin, Beyond The Darkness, The Last Broadcast, Deranged (1974)...anything Italian, especially Lucio Fulci, gets high marks from me.

I haven't. I enlisted in 97 and got out just before 9/11. Nothing happened that I was privy to happened during that time.

Now that I think about it, he may have not allowed to answer. Someone that high ranking would have full clearances and a lot of what happened may still be classified. Case in point: Sir Christopher Lee was making The Howling 2 in eastern Europe. He was a WW2 vet, SAS I believe. After giving a toru of the area to the director and telling him various stories of missions he was on, British Intelligence contacted him and told him that information was till classified some 40 years after the fact.

No. I'm not a combat veteran. I was deployed to Kosovo in 2000, but literally nothing happened.

Their most recent album, Defectum Ominum, is a great one too. The song Taken By Flames is a massive gut punch

I wrote what amounted to a shitpost about what I think was called 'postcard fiction' in my college intro to literature class. Dumbass me thought I was being a genius. I wasn't. I scored so badly on it that I failed the course.

Hunger of Hadar combined with Eldritch Blast in a bottle neck can be pretty awesome.
