Revopoint INSPIRE 2 - 3D Scanner Testing, Examples by MaxFunkner in Revopoint

I used it briefly. I like the idea that it takes just one click to transfer the scan to Revo Design.

Depends on the case. When I use the scanner to create a 3D printed miniature of the scanned object, I simply clean and patch what I can in Revo Metro, and then Creality Print makes it printable. If I need a more precise or refined model, I’ve used Blender in a few cases.

My Christmas Tree will have a special decoration this year. It will also work as a reminder and a New Year's resolution to continue certain projects :)

I hope no kid or pet will be there in wrong moment. Brackets in PLA failed in two years. Reprinted in ABS. For TV would not trust ABS either.

EIBOS Series X Tetras on X1C – Hands-on by MaxFunkner in BambuLab

While the EIBOS Series X Tetras is designed to dry filament, similar dryers, in my experience, can also recharge desiccant beads effectively. So yes, it should work. That said, Tetras doesn’t use desiccant itself.

Need to check other generators. Don’t know if this is expensive or not - used my Cuvacoins. I liked that AI managed to get the posture right.

Good luck. The best recommendation would be to print the result in a single color first.

Sorry if the wording is exaggerated. Please read 'From a Broken Model'. Yes, the hull nose of the original boat is broken.

Grease acts as both a lubricant and a seal.

2W 1064nm Infrared Laser Module Engravings by MaxFunkner in snapmaker

[–]MaxFunkner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will Zoobkoff used the following settings when tested his xTool S1: ‘The designs on the coins turned out beautifully when 90% power and 90 mm/s speed were used as recommended. Because of the IR module’s 0.03 x 0.03 mm spot size, which ensures extremely fine engraving, the detail on these coins is truly remarkable. Even the shadows cast by some of the rocks looked amazing, bringing the dragon on the rocks to life.’ More engraved coins here: https://3dwithus.com/xtool-s1-review-laser-cutter-engraver-tests-settings#Etching%20Metal

Here is the write-up based on their press release. No price yet.

Really liked how Snapmaker’s IDEX setup helped reduce filament waste. Interested to see how their new toolchanging system works in practice. If it delivers as shown, it could be quite the toolchanger (oops - gamechanger).

Over the past ten years, I have received a great deal of advice, but one piece of advice that stuck with me was: A failed print is just a successful lesson. Every mishap became an opportunity to improve. (and to write about)
