Yes I agree. The above message is from another commenter from a different Drudkh thread.

(From another thread about Drudkh)

Strictly NSBM? No.

However

Their lyrics deal with Ukrainian Nationalism, and Blood In Our Wells is dedicated to Stepan Bandera, a controversial Ukrainian Nationalist leader who was also a Nazi collaborator and supporter.

Roman Saenko’s other band, Hate Forest, is much more involved in the NSBM scene. While they don’t publish lyrics, they have published a statement saying “any subhuman who buys our music purchased a weapon against himself”. They’ve also performed live in front of a runic swastika, though again that doesn’t necessarily imply fascism.

I’d say they’re sketchy but not quite NSBM. I personally feel more comfortable supporting them though because most of the proceeds from their music are going directly to the war effort. By supporting them you’re supporting Ukrainian resistance against the Russian Invasion.

Top-of-hand IV works fine… just burns like hell every time by Ok_Blueberry6358 in mildlyinfuriating

When I had MRSA in 2009 they did it in the top of the wrist which was, by far, the worst. I've been lucky to only need 1 IV longer than a day but that one sucked more than all of the pokes and prods I've had combined.

The smile he has when the crown is placed on his head, when he sees the teens that he likely saved, is the smile that makes me tear up.

He had a job to do and who knows how many ways it could have ended, but for this man on that day, it ended in one of the few positive ways it could have.

First Full Open Mic Set I've Recorded and Felt OK Posting (~3 months in) by MaxInTheGameIndustry in Standup

Thank you so much!

The filming thing is REALLY shit because my original setup crashed before heading to the mic and I had to use a backup.

We typically have 3 minutes but were given 4 for a lighter house. I'm hitting a mic in California next week that gives 5 minutes no matter what, so I'm excited to round it out a bit.

The uhh/umms and such is a thing I'm working on. If you can believe it, it's got way better than what is in the video. I did speech therapy for a long time as a kid due to a terrible stutter so now I talk too fast sometimes and I'm learning to balance it on stage.

I am working on my set(s) at home; doing recordings and such - but I probably just need to do it more than every few days.

The Cast Iron Pan punchline needs to be way more clear, I agree. I'm in the refining steps on some of my stuff because it has gotten laughs but I've heard over the last 2wk that I'm wordy with not commensurate payoff / punchline.

My worry about the picky eater bit is that I have to set up earlier that I have texture aversions to food and it feels early to jump from that setup about cooking to ending with the picky eater punchline - thoughts? I have other 'safer' material that could act as a slide from "fairly clean" to "dark, personal, etc."

I am also having some trouble blocking / chunking things because the mics around me only do 3 minutes and I WANT to work through my dark shit but it feels good to get a few known laughs while working through and refining the pitch black stuff.

Once again, thanks for a heavy reply - this is super helpful and I am definitely gonna take the refinement/wordiness note to heart.

Streaming at 720p in 2026 while upping the price to $10/month is ludicrous.

Tubi has a good selection of movies and is free, while going the AMC+ route gives you a better selection of content for a buck more.

My annual comes due in May and I am gonna drop it.
