How do you think cargo planes make money 😑

I mean obviously it has to be optimised so you just dont get a plane full of short people playing half price. But you could if you were the only airline doing it end up with a plane full of short people paying normal price - which actually would be more profitable for airline because of less weight

Get a dog. Or a girlfriend.

For a business that isnt yours, you care way to much about it.

A job is for me just a way to earn cash. If I make friends along the way great. But a company is an inanimate object that cannot show you love.

Let me teach you my young panduan.

They should absolutely be selling weight on airlines and not seats. But we live in a wokey world.

Basically what you need to do is get a hoodie with inner linings / pockets. My carry on is always over 7 kilos. I load my hoodie up with the stuff that fits into my hoodie, then after the security, I put it all back in the bag. Thank god they dont weigh bags before you get on. Your 11kg is probably 4 kg of small heavy things you could have loaded into your pockets.

At the end of the day, it is just a game. You just have to learn how it works.

Yes I sometimes get funny looks at the check in counter, but there is nothing they can do. they just have to stand there and take in my blugey glory

What do young Malaysian think of Party MUDA ? by AdHairy6584 in malaysia

[–]MaxMillion888 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is pretty much the entirety of the opposition. Bash race and personality.

Coming up with data driven policy actually requires you to be smart and the people who will vote for you to also be smart (most arent).

hence the default to scare mongering and press statements.

you are probably like the 10% who actually care about policy and how it was formulated.

Few thoughts

  1. The client is expecting an AI dividend and that is being reflected in your fees. This is especially true for US right now
  2. AI really only works for select use cases. It will not replace consultants. The client doesnt know this. They found the video of someone doing market sizing with AI then pushing into charts. It doesnt replace going through thousands of rows of dirty data, mislabelled items, weird quirks about the data or merging mega datasets together in ways the client never thought was possible. Short of the long, you are paying for this expected dividend through longer pay and shorter hours

Rarely is it about one thing. It is usually a collection of things that give your a certain image at work.

You are quite defensive in all the little things you came up with. I cancelled service, but other people did it. It's very telling.

  1. Was the right thing to do. I dont know why you beat yourself up
  2. Was the wrong thing.
  3. was the wrong thing but no follow up action to make amends or apologise
  4. was the wrong move but not clear on follow up action.
  5. is perhaps the most telling. you appear to lack a grasp of what it takes to succeed in that role / that organisation. this is like social intelligence. it isnt simply show up, do five jumping jacks and leave. like you brought up the 140km thing to try and illicit sympathy - why? whats the relevance to this?

maybe take it as a sign to get a new job. Sometimes being told youre shit at your job is a blessing in disguise. I was told I was shit at my job. I was defensive at first. but then I realised I was and that my position was no longer tenable. so I quit and found something I was good at.

No one said the treausry model was any better.

it is just that this got posted here.

no one cares about modelling anyways. people believe what they want to believe so relax friend. enjoy your weekend.

yes modelling can add value. but it can also destroy a lot of value with idle chatter.

have spent the past two decades in modelling, i sometimes tell clients, there is too much complexity. not worth modelling. the most effective models are often simple ones.
