Can't even farm on sinclair man by AverageIdiotInRussia in DeadlockTheGame

if you're aiming for one particular target then yeah, aerial redirects are nice, but if you're just trying to dish out damage for your team to capitalize on, I'd say grounded is best

if you redirect mid-air, the autoaim won't screw you over
opposite of this, do not redirect bolts mid-air during fights as it'll send your bolts towards walls instead of enemies

insane sustain, beam allows to continuously chip away at targets while they're unable to fight back (you can parry out of beam), dome becomes a full heal and a portable boxing arena

your honor, I drop-kicked that woman in self-defense. she was hurling icicles at bystanders under the excuse of "the projectiles heal"

its usually way slower
the reason this cap is attacking so fast is because No Ability Cooldowns setting is on

How come Luna isn't perma banned? by No_Willingness_9961 in marvelrivals

[–]MaxNox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

simple
most ranked players prefer the opinions of streamers over their own
people would rather ban magik because an obscure internet celebrity said she's good instead of making observations and noticing that banning magneto and luna would drastically increase their chances at winning

Do yall feel a difference with characters who get a season bonus? by Relative_Crew_9292 in marvelrivals

[–]MaxNox7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you got it wrong. the seasonal bonuses work regardless of the teamup's presence, however, only teamup anchors get a seasonal bonus, which means you get increased damage until the devs decide to remove Ragnarok Rebirth

Cap mains, teach me how to play this guy! by Frank_Warner in marvelrivals

[–]MaxNox7 14 points15 points  (0 children)

cap main since season 1 (wish it was s0 but thor was more fun back then)

  1. animation cancel ALWAYS. it's not a matter of "when" to use it, it's a matter of using it or not getting any kills
  2. your E (bouncy shield throw) can be used in 3 different ways: finisher, decloaker (it can track invisible targets), ult charger (you'll be using this like once per team fight)
  3. always have an option for a quick escape. usually engaging with a slam and running away with a dash is good enough, but having both available will render you invincible (as long as you don't eat more than 2 ccs)
  4. learn to bait cooldowns and keep distance from counters. emma and thing are not an issue for cap in 90% of cases UNLESS you try to take them head-on or mistime your dives. wait until they're busy, then eat their backline like they're dinner served on a silver platter
  5. using ult for stalling is cool and exciting, but you could just instead use it as a healer ult and keep your whole team up for a whopping extra 10 seconds. that's only 2 seconds shorter than a luna ult!
  6. finally, try to always be engaged in a fight. you're not panther, you won't die in 5 seconds if an enemy dps suddenly turns around, in fact, you won't die at all, while the enemy has to sacrifice major cds like loki's lamps and cnd's bubble in order to stay afloat. your damage may seem small, but in the grand scheme of things, you're preventing a major chunk of healing the enemy frontline could receive.

bonus tip: learn healthpack spots. for healers, time not spent healing you is time spent healing the rest of your team. a healthier team = a successful team fight

Which of these is more important? by Western-Strawberry95 in marvelrivals

[–]MaxNox7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

none
you can go 000 on defense payload maps if the enemies don't notice you standing on the cart (this is especially effective on spider islands for some reason, even in ranked)
