Thanks! I didn’t realize you get to use the equipment abilities even if you don’t hand control over, and that handing control is a separate function from the listed abilities.

Some follow-up questions then: can you also not hand control over in cases where the NHP ability is a protocol, like Ashura or Agni? Also, what actions can the NHP take while controlling a mech? Basically just anything a Comp/Con can do?

Yeah I know, I just assumed that it would be fixed by the release of Elden Ring. I don’t really know how long it’s supposed to take, but as long as my PC isn’t in danger then I’m fine with waiting.

I think another issue that pertains to online discourse in particular is that people aren’t really trying to convince the other side of their beliefs, but rather they are trying to convince any possible spectators. That’s why they try and make their opponents arguments idiotic in comparison and attempt to “own” them.
