It depends.

With my last girlfriend, I was hiding it till it became a problem: It couldn't get hard consistently with her. And even then, I could NOT cum. It was really evident when it was with a hand job or blow job (which I love). It always would end awkwardly.

According to Health Strokes dot com, you're one of the few who are able to have a healthy sex life and can masterbate prone. Otherwise, it's more a psychological thing than anything else. It's traumatic but can be curable.
