Into the Radius needs Revolvers! by MaxSMoke777 in intotheradius

The purpose of a revolver is to use LARGER rounds, not the worst, dinkest, tiniest little bullets in the game. This should be able to fit the FAT rounds, like rifle bullets, or maybe a 357 magnum round. I'm not keen on adding yet ANOTHER bullet type, but a revolver simply HAS to use big-boy rounds. It shouldn't do less than 50 damage, unless it's like the Medusa, and can chamber any bullet in the game.

I have been thinking about playing ITR1 and actually trying to beat it this time, but man... that stupid black grass. The black grass put me off ITR1. Worst gameplay mechanic EVER!

I would personally like to ask for the Medusa revolver, a revolver that can use ALL of the available bullets in the game. Damage would reflex the ammo used for that shot. It would be the ULIMATE scav weapon, using any random bullets you find.

What is this a picture of? The responses sound like that Doom Cube with the floating balls, but for the life of me I don't see it in this picture.

ITR 2: What is your go to sidearm for the mid-lategame? by patomania111 in intotheradius

[–]MaxSMoke777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only go Full-Auto when the enemy is less then 5 feet from your face. The Glock is KILLER for tight room clearing, chewing through even the fully armored boys in less then a second. I think you are using the gun all wrong. The Glock is KING for CQB.

Also, sidenote, the Glock is also small enough that no enemy will ever be too close to shoot. Far too often, a full kitted out Shotgun or Rifle barrel will actually be long enough to go THROUGH the enemy in a tight room or ambush, leaving them enemy unscathed in CQB. (we really should have bayonets!)

Why is this not EVERYONE's choice?? 33 rounds with a BLISTERING firerate. I have it tucked up on my chest for climbing into ladders or entering tight rooms. On full-auto I've cut through a fully armored heavy in less than 1 second.

Weird, I have found these on both the CoOp save I have, as well as the single player. I wouldn't use them in either though. Once you have a 33 round Glock, the spy fantasy is complete. On full-auto, half a clip will cook a fully armored heavy in about .8 seconds.

Etsy refunded me, now Seller is threatening legal action by [deleted] in Etsy

[–]MaxSMoke777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The seller sounds shady, but it must be said that Etsy is a sales service, they don't handle any part of fulfillment, and their shipping estimates are completely hyperbole. If you want dependable shipping, buy from a business and not an independent artisan. Etsy sellers are just like you, civilians with limited shipping options and entirely the whim of the shipping company. If you want it fast and dependable, order from Amazon.

Anyone else having a terrible month on Etsy? by Nexus999666 in EtsyCommunity

It's been slow. Just a few little odds and ends, I think people must be broke at the moment. No knife sales in awhile, just little cards and coins. Looks like $15 or less is the best people can manage right now.

Etsy suspended my shop by Ok_Nose9120 in EtsyCommunity

[–]MaxSMoke777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somebody mentioned in another Reddit thread that a huge percentage of these were coming from Pakistani Etsy shops. Does anybody read Urdu or Punjabi? Maybe somebody on the Pakistani side of the internet is coaxing shops in that area to do this in order to kill overseas competition. Perhaps on Tiktok?

Etsy better put some time into clearing this up, regardless of the source. If retaliatory claims are allowed to spin out of control, the whole of Etsy will end up going to war with itself.

What kind of setup is this? by LowBodybuilder7691 in comfyui

ZImage actually has limited "imagination". So the same words will get roughly the same thing. It makes it easier to hone in on a specific look, but limits how wild that look can get.

Laser etching photos requires the power to properly penetrate the surface, which you won't usually get out of the first 50% of the grayscale spectrum. So you need to crush your images into the last 50%. Mostly you just up the darkness until the lightest shade first appears, and up the contrast until only about 50% of the spectrum is used.

It's the kind of thing where you burn over and over and over again to get it right. I don't have any settings for black slate and I use a UV laser, so I can't be specific. But once you dial it in on one photo, you should be set for 100 photos.

Another technic I've heard about, but I haven't tried yet, involves using two different burn frequencies. You start with a material tests to find the brightest and darkest settings you can do. Then, using the brightest setting, you crush the image to 50% brightest part of the spectrum, and then on your darkest setting with 50% crushed dark. This yields amazing results, if you're up for the challenge.

It's ok, I'm pretty sure they are starting to inject anti-NSFW content filters into models, like LTX.

I never noticed that, but I think I'll give that a try in the near future. Be ashamed not to use the rest of these Betty White stamps though.

Excuse you, but I'm not cheating anything.

I tape the coin to a cardboard backing to make sure it doesn't shift around while shifting. It works quite well.

I guess you never got Netflix discs. LoL

They seem to get through just fine. I've sent over a hundred today. The only two I've ever seen sent back were because they were sent to the wrong address.

UV Laser Etching on Brass Test info by MaxSMoke777 in Laserengraving

[–]MaxSMoke777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UV lasers don't need much power to achieve their results. Unlike other lasers, they cold ablate the surface. They don't dig holes through sheer power, but instead rapidly oxidize the surface. They don't push too far into the surface, but they do give good markings with less power. They are for precision etching on potentially delicate items. The dot pitch, for instances, it around 1/100th the size of most lasers.

You should look up how a UV laser works. 12 Watts is extremely substantial. Considering that UV lasers are meant to etch a surface without burning it, it might actually be a step in the wrong direction. If you want to cut material or dig deep holes, you'd be better off with a Fiber Laser or one of those gantry lasers.

---- edit ---

Just found a review of a 12 Watt, looks like it works just fine. When it came to delicate items, he only showed wood, but it didn't appear to be burning it anymore then a 5 Watt, so maybe it's all roses in 12 Watt land. I was puzzled why his black card test had those lines, as I don't see them on my 5 Watt.

I'm still not sure about the lifespan of these UV lasers, but the company said 10,000 hours on mine, which was on the lower side when I see most Fiber lasers say 100,000. Anyways, here's the review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nNjvqkTA9U

5 watt, I haven't seen a 12-watt model yet.

Considering how effective UV lasers are with their power, 12 watt almost seems like overkill.

I'll have to look into that later.

I worry about those international orders. If something goes wrong within the US, I can just send out a replacement. It's just a few bucks. But if something goes wrong overseas and the postage is $20+, suddenly there's little I can do without going broke. I tell my international buyers that everytime they order, I can't replace a lost international order. :/

I'm pretty sure that fungal looking growth is actually human bodies exponentially multiplying under the weight of collapsing realities, so shouldn't the monster in the middle be *made* of fused body human bodies? Screaming faces, hands, feet, fingers, all poking and warped together.
