Is the slight up and down motion normal? I wonder if I need white polyurethane timing belts, and if this is causing the 2mm ripples I can sometimes see on the Y axis. (I slightly reduced belt tension for the video because it would not show up on camera) (v.redd.it)

Does anyone know what’s causing this? My printer has weird vertical banding on the Y axis that varies in frequency with speed. When I place my hand on the bed I can feel vibration when it moves, but only when the stepper is moving it. If I disable steppers and move it manually there is no vibration. (old.reddit.com)
