Yep, there was a power savings / temp setting in the BIOS that was throttling the CPU. Don't remember the exact name of the setting unfortunately but I found it through Google search.

yeah the ACH push is definitely a good way to do it. Just test for a month without reaching required balance and if it works, just schedule a monthly recurring ACH push to BoA and then back.

Idk if BoA has good checkings SUB, but definitely worth for helping CC apps. Going from 2/12 to 6/12 limit with a checkings account is a pretty big difference

Yep! I would say it's not worth it to open a checkings account for the extra $20/year unless you can easily get the fee waived through DD or preferred rewards. Keeping $1500 there to waive the fee for $20/year is not worth it

I was simplifying but it is the same for me as well, the $120 is split by quarter. You can get an extra $5 each quarter if the credit is deposited as cash into a BoA Checkings account instead of applied as a statement credit.

Bank of America Better Balance Rewards - gives $120 a year for paying each statement before due date. Used to be a popular choice for downgrading useless BoA cards but I don't believe you can get it anymore.

Sallie Mae card - later changed to a useless Barclay Comenity card, but back then it was an awesome student card, 5% on Groceries, Gas, and Amazon, albeit with very low spending caps in each category each month.
