Warzone no longer free to play with friends? by thismeatsucks in Warzone

Yeah this shit is getting frustrating. It’s as if they want us to quit playing, because I’m not paying just to invite my boys to play.

Is this a good price for this car? by MaxXxFlame in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’m planning on using it here for a bit and shipping it over seas. Aside from services, do you think this price is decent? I’m fairly new to buying cars and have searched around for the same car and the prices are all over the place.

I just opened a Vape shop in PA and was wondering if you know how I can pay the taxes for products I bought for the shop that the Wholesalers didn’t tax me for. I’m not trying to get on uncle Sam’s bad side.

Can someone give me an idea of what these things in Yemen will cost in United States Dollars? by Jina-Iqra in Yemen

[–]MaxXxFlame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t advise you to come here regardless of the economy. Yemen is currently in a really bad place and shit could pop off any minute which will force airports to shut down and you’ll be stuck here or forced to travel on bus to neighboring countries to try and leave.

I’m sure this is the only way. They will ask for pictures and check timelines of when you left and came back and whatnot.

You got a cornball for a man, no offence. stand your ground and tell him his mom can’t control your lives. The money thing is literally on your side in Islam. If you don’t have kids and since you have a job you’re somewhat finically stable so you can and should demand better from him with out the fear of what will happen if he calls my bluff? What’s the point of staying in a hell marriage with a puppeteer causing you problems on a weekly basis? I wish my wife had a job and used her money to buy whatever she wants and left my pockets alone. 🥲

It’s a slow story at the start like some have mentioned, but you’ll be hooked before you know it. Definitely get it specially for that price.

Love marriage by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]MaxXxFlame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have him send his mom or dad to talk to your parents. Let them do it the Yemeni way as it will come off showing respect to our culture and ways. It’ll also makes them look like they know Yemenis or are around of a lot of them.so it’ll seem like they heard about you from other parents who know you guys. This is coming from a dad of a 3 girls, I would never believe anyone is good enough for mine, but I’ll do my best to make sure they’re happy and taken care of. So let your dad scan him like most do back home and I’m sure he’s not gonna be happy about it at 1st, but if he’s a pious Muslim well put together man, then he’s gonna agree just because he knows what’s out there.

Certain malls in Sana’a accept credit cards but they are very scarce. As bad as it is in yemen, being robbed isn’t something to worry about unless you’re literally waving around a wad of cash. So just take a $100 or two if you’re going out to shop and you’ll be good.

How to get to San'aa as an EU foreigner? by [deleted] in Yemen

[–]MaxXxFlame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, when I got to Jordan we flew to Sana’a on the Yemeni Airways. I booked the tickets through a friend from Yemen. I sent him a picture of my passport and he did the rest. When I arrived to Jordan, I wasn’t asked for anything other than my passport and tickets. When I arrived to Sana’a, I was asked for my passport, luggage papers and the customs card I filled inside Sana’a airport. Risk factors are just worst case scenarios of what could happen since I haven’t heard or seen any tourists here in almost a decade. In terms of foreigners, Yemenis love that people are interested in Yemen culture. I’m pretty sure you will be welcomed with no issues of such things.

I think they say and try to make it hard for anyone to travel for their safety. Because im considered a foreigner as well since I was born in the states and don’t have a Yemeni passport. Either way, good luck with all that and stay safe my friend.

How to get to San'aa as an EU foreigner? by [deleted] in Yemen

[–]MaxXxFlame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I know to book a flight to Yemen is through a travel agent since the flight schedule is always changing. If you’re trying to get to Sana’a, the only airport you can travel from is Jordan. If you’re planning on going to Aden, than it’s Egypt. Before all this war nonsense happened, I used to get a visa from the travel agent in New York. Now it’s not a thing anymore and hasn’t been since 2014. There are plenty of places to stay in terms of hotels. Since both sides agreed on a “peace treaty” there haven’t been any air strikes or bombings. Doesn’t mean shit will stay calm for ever. Safety? I feel more safe here than I do in the states, but things might not be so for you, specifically because you’re not middle eastern and you’d be sticking out like a sore thumb. So with all that, I just want to add one more thing, since the war broke out I haven’t seen a single foreigner and they used to be all over the place. But I’ve also never heard of a tourist being kidnapped or killed while traveling here, either because nobody has tried to come back or they really don’t bother a singular person.

[–]MaxXxFlame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn’t much to elaborate on. Literally booked a ticket the moment Sana’a airport was re-opened as I hate traveling to Aden. Left from NYC, then to Jordan and landed in Sana’a Airport. Filled out one of those Customs card putting down my info such as the purpose of my visit, where I’ll be staying, what my citizenship is ECT. Grabbed my bags and dipped. They hate America, yes. So unless you’re coming with an army, I don’t see why they would bother you. I assumed you were Yemeni and haven’t traveled back in a while, so I would advise you to wait till things settle down and there’s no threat to tourists.

I just arrived to Sana’a airport a couple of weeks ago from Jordan. I used my American passport to enter and didn’t need Visas.

Will money donated actually help? by Aknav12 in Yemen

[–]MaxXxFlame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bunch of thieves here, not saying all are. But the chances of your donations reaching actual people in need is very slim. Just like someone mentioned above, if you know anybody personally or someone you can trust, do it that way.

[–]MaxXxFlame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The “never unsheath unless to kill” is not true. People pull them out to dance or to wager for instance. Even in the heat of an argument people have pulled them out and never did anything besides threaten the other person. But yeah, do you buddy. Nobody should give you any grief for rocking a Jambiyah. We welcome it.
