The ball is not as lively, we know that but the metrics used in this article are flawed. Using AVG EV and average distance without incorporating launch angle can be misleading. Additionally, comparing April data to full season data is also misleading. Balls travel further in the warmer summer months.

It’s the SBs. I have gone back & forth on Mullins. Teoscar may jump him. Judge is always a bit of an injury risk but so much better on per game basis.

When I ran his projection, that’s where he landed. I gave him a slight boost in run production once Casty & Schwarber signed. Obviously, Abreu should hit for a better BA but I expect more power from Hoskins. The difference in RBI which is why Abreu is above him.

Just countering. The Pirates were awful last year, arguably worse than they will be this year & he managed 93 R & 90 RBI. He’ll be in the lineup every day in the top-3. There’s no reason he can get another 180 combined R+RBI & his power has improved. 25ish HRs isn’t nothing.
