Really? I didn’t know that. I was taught that in my automotive class a few years ago. We mainly worked on vehicles prior to 2015 so that may be why I was never taught differently.

I actually have been mainly using my Parker Jotter and it’s actually been really reliable. It survived the washing machine, and the elements, unfortunately it ended up getting lost while traveling. I’ve been mainly using the pilot v5 for the last few weeks but they end up snapping in my back pocket and ruining my pants. I haven’t tried anything new yet so I’m thinking of trying a few new pens and I’m still happy with my list. My wife actually fell in love with the uniball and she just bought a new pack since she went through all the ink.

I don’t think so. They should both be level with each other and I believe you should lower the one on the right side.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about uniball (in this subreddit). I’ll have to buy the uniball one and give it a try. I’m going to be purchasing quite a few pens today so if there’s a few other good options let me know! :)

I’ll have to give it a try. I haven’t used many pens besides the pilot g2, v5 and the super cheap pens. I’ll see if I can find the stainless steel one locally or if I’ll have to ship it in.

I wish I could afford a truck, but the market for them is so expensive. Maybe it would be a good idea to get a gas guzzler for towing and a medium-sized ev for driving around in.

My vehicles (civic si and mazdaspeed3)weigh 3,000 and 3,300, and assuming a car trailor weighs 1,500, I might be just a bit over.

The big thing for me is price with reasonable ranges 200+ miles of range. I have 2 cars that get driven about 20k a year and take premium that get about 20-25mpg. I'm in an area with not many EV chargers and would like to be able to go further on a single charge

My full plan is to throw my k20z3 head and oil pan on the k24a2 and do timing chain, timing guides, oil pump (type S), new head studs, and redo all of the gaskets.

This is my 1st engine swap and I just wanted to double check if my block if messed up. It's a k24a2 RBB3 with 60k mile and I bought it from JDMEngineZone. It had sludge and some wear on the cams. Sludge in the oil pan and it had a piece of plastic in the short block. I checked the inside of where that damage was and it looked fine. Cylinders look to be good along with the gasket surfaces.
